Tabby kittens & cats in Stratford, Ontario

Bumble(bee) was found alone outside, without any family. He was 'adopted' into the "B" family and received 3 sisters and a momma. He's a sweet little guy that needs a bit of time to trust, but is learning that indoors is safe and gentle touch is nice. He loves to play, eat and repeat! He is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on his vaccines and will come with a voucher for his neuter at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the neuter surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes by respecting these guidelines!

This little one and her brother Griffin were found outside, unwell. She has fully recovered and is healthy and ready for her new family. She loves to play with her brother, is active and adventurous, but still a bit shy and would be best in quiet home with another kitty. She likes cuddles and has a big purr engine! She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Beth is a quiet independent girl. She prefers to sit high up on her cat tree and just watch the world around her. She will snuggle and play with her brother Blake, but does not connect with any of the other animals in her foster home. She will accept a quick pet, but is not a cuddly kitty. She will do best with her brother Blake, or as the only pet in a quiet home, given time, space and understanding. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Oscar is very friendly. He is not shy and loves attention. Oscar is an indoor cat and has never been outside since we rescued him from the humane society in 2021. He is a healthy, happy 7 years old boy and is very good with kids of all ages. Unfortunately we are needing to re-home him as one of our children has begun to develop severe allergies and we believe this will help improve her health.

3 year old cats. Brother and sister. Must stay together.

Meet Lucy!Lucy is a lovely adult cat who truly enjoys being around her people. She loves lounging nearby, following you from room to room, and being part of your daily routine. While she`s affectionate and enjoys companionship, Lucy also has an independent side and appreciates having her own space when she wants it. Lucy is looking for a calm, adult-only home where she can be the center of attention. She also prefers to be the only pet in a home so she can get all of the attention. Lucy has a big personality and is very good at communicating her boundaries. She appreciates people who understand and respect her signals, as she can be a little spicy if she`s feeling overwhelmed or her limits are pushed. For the right person, Lucy will make a wonderful companion—offering affection, company, and plenty of personality. If you`re looking for a cat who enjoys being close by but doesn`t need constant attention, Lucy may be the perfect match. At HSKWSP we do not assign our dogs or cats with a breed as we cannot guarantee the specific breed that they are. Meet Binx, a playful little lovebug! This energetic little guy is always ready for his next adventure! He is very playful and absolutely loves wrestling and chasing his siblings. He has plenty of kitten energy and would thrive in a home with people or cats who can keep up with him and be his playmate. But don’t let all that energy fool you. He`s also a total sweetheart! He absolutely loves humans and will happily shower you with all the nudges and kisses in the world. He’s more than happy to spend some quality time with his people, until he’s ready to get energetic again. While in the shelter, Binx was found to have an `innocent` low grade heart murmur. Kittens can sometimes have very soft murmurs when they`re young, but do not seem to affect the kittens growth, play, or spirit, and can sometimes go away after a few weeks. Because Binx is so playful, energetic, and doing great, we`re confident this will not effect his life. Our adoption team will be happy to discuss this with you, if you`d like to adopt this sweet boy!Binx would do amazing in a variety homes, so long as they can give him lots of attention, socialization, and playtime. If you`re looking for a fun, affectionate, social kitten with a big personality, this little guy could be the perfect addition to your family! At HSKWSP we do not assign our dogs or cats with a breed as we cannot guarantee the specific breed that they are.
