Story
Bella found her way into the garage of one of our volunteers at around 5 weeks old. She is a vocal gal who loves to yell for attention and snuggles. She's playful, enjoys chasing and wrestling with her foster kitty friends. She loves kisses and cuddles and sleeping in your arms and is always purring. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and will come with a voucher for her spay at 6 months, done in Woodstock at our vet. To facilitate the spay surgery, applications from locations within half an hour distance from Woodstock will be considered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes by respecting these guidelines!

Story
Meet Luna! Luna is the most sensitive of the sisters, and she’s still learning that the world isn’t so scary. She needs a calm, understanding adopter who can give her all the time and space she needs to blossom. Once Luna begins to trust, her quiet love is incredibly rewarding. She’s a special soul just waiting for the right person to help her shine.***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.If you are viewing this animal through 24Petconnect by PetPlace or Adopt-a-pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process to submit an application. Any applications submitted outside of www.kwsphumane.ca may not be received.

Story
Meet Berenger, this charming little rascal waltzed into our lives as a stray, sporting a rather unfortunate case of ear mites that would make even the most seasoned cat lover cringe. But fear not! After some TLC and a bit of veterinary magic, Berenger is now officially ear-mite free and ready to strut his stuff in search of his forever home .With a personality that could charm the whiskers off any cat lover, Berenger is the kind of guy who will greet you like you’re long-lost royalty. He absolutely adores being petted and will gladly accept all the chin scratches you can muster. If you’re looking for a loving, playful addition to your family, Berenger is your man. Come meet him and let the purring begin! 🐾❤️ Please fill out an adoption inquiry form and a volunteer will be in touch https://www.felinefriends.ca/foster-and-adoption

Story
Owen has his tuxedo suit on and is now ready to find his perfect home! When first introduced to his new family, Owen will be shy but just until he adjusts to his new surroundings. When he's comfortable he is a loveable boy who enjoys cuddling up beside you and loves to make air biscuits. At his current foster he hang out with other cats but if adopted in a home with another cat would prefer a friend that is older or docile and calm. He would be fine as an only kitty. Owen was bullied by other cats outdoors before he was brought into our care so will not do well with aggressive cats or very high energy kitties. We think he would be quite happy as the only pet in the household, soaking up the attention! Owen is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has had parasite prevention. If you would like to hear more about Owen or meet him in his Stratford, ON foster home, please complete the short online adoption inquiry and a volunteer will be in touch. https://www.felinefriends.ca/foster-and-adoption
