Story
Ginny is a very smart girl. She was the last of siblings to be born, but the first at everything else. She was the first to eat solid food, use the litter pan, climb out of their enclosure, plus many other things. She loves to run and play with her siblings, but is often content to cuddle on her foster grandma's lap and just watch. She has never met a child or dog, but would be fine with proper introductions. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and have been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes by respecting these guidelines!

This little one and her brother Griffin were found outside, unwell. She has fully recovered and is healthy and ready for her new family. She loves to play with her brother, is active and adventurous, but still a bit shy and would be best in quiet home with another kitty. She likes cuddles and has a big purr engine! She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Wasabi is one of many kittens who began his life outdoors, without human touch. He's now a sweet little guy who has changed his spicy ways! He loves cuddles with his foster momma, belly rubs and chin scratches. Chasing crinkle balls and wand toys are favorites! He is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on his vaccines and has been neutered. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Story
Beth is a quiet independent girl. She prefers to sit high up on her cat tree and just watch the world around her. She will snuggle and play with her brother Blake, but does not connect with any of the other animals in her foster home. She will accept a quick pet, but is not a cuddly kitty. She will do best with her brother Blake, or as the only pet in a quiet home, given time, space and understanding. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! Story
Matilda, Matty, Tilley...... or give her a new name that you think suits her personality! We don't know if this gal had another name as she was a homeless stray brought in during this past extra cold winter! We also don't know her exact age but believe she is at least 5 yrs young (but could be older). Her foster mom told us Matilda's love language seems to include some love nipping so we don't recommend her for a home with children. This may subside once she is in a home and getting all the attention. Matilda is looking for a comfy indoor home with someone who will dote on her. She will walk right in and make herself at home! She LOVES affection, will jump into a good lap for some cuddle time, sleeps on the bed and LOVES new toys. She is playful and sweet. She'll meet you at the door after a hard day's work. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and received parasite prevention. We don't know how Matilda feels about other cats nor dogs. IF you are looking for a "wingwoman" who will show you her appreciation for being her companion, please fill out the short online adoption inquiry form - link attached for your convenience. https://www.felinefriends.ca/adoption-inquiry

Story
Meet Chance, a charming 9-year-old gentleman who believes life is best enjoyed with belly rubs, playtime, and a warm lap. This affectionate boy loves a good cuddle session, but he still has a playful side and enjoys chasing toys and joining in on fun. Chance is happiest snuggled up beside his person, soaking in love and giving it right back. He would thrive in a calm home where he can relax, play, nap, and be your loyal cuddle buddy. Chance gets along with other cats and would be happy to be adopted with one of his resident kitty friends! If you’re looking for a loving companion who will happily keep your lap warm and your heart full, Chance is ready to make your home his forever. If interested in hearing more about him and/or his resident cat companions also looking for a home please fill out an inquiry form and a volunteer will be in touch. https://www.felinefriends.ca/adoption-inquiry

Story
Meet Lucy!Lucy is a lovely adult cat who truly enjoys being around her people. She loves lounging nearby, following you from room to room, and being part of your daily routine. While she`s affectionate and enjoys companionship, Lucy also has an independent side and appreciates having her own space when she wants it.Lucy is looking for a calm, adult-only home where she can be the center of attention. Lucy has a big personality and is very good at communicating her boundaries. She appreciates people who understand and respect her signals, as she can be a little spicy if she`s feeling overwhelmed or her limits are pushed. For the right person, Lucy will make a wonderful companion—offering affection, company, and plenty of personality. If you`re looking for a cat who enjoys being close by but doesn`t need constant attention, Lucy may be the perfect match. At HSKWSP we do not assign our dogs or cats with a breed as we cannot guarantee the specific breed that they are. All dogs are labelled as small, medium and large breed and cats are labelled as DSH, DMH and DLH based on their characteristics.***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.If you are viewing this animal through 24Petconnect by PetPlace or Adopt-a-pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process to submit an application. Any applications submitted outside of www.kwsphumane.ca may not be received.
