Story
Hi my name is Sugar Pea! I can become highly aroused when overstimulated. I like to play with ice cubes and high places to relax. I will need time to get used to my new surroundings so please give me my space and I will come to you when I ready. When I am comfortable and used to my new home and family I like to be pet and sit on your lap. If I sound like the girl for you please submit an application. ***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.If you are viewing this through Petango or Adopt-a-pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process

We are in search of a home for Limpy and his buddy Frost. They love each other and we would love to see them adopted together! Frost is guestimated to be approx. age 4-5 and Limpy is 12 years young! They will both be shy initially but being together will help them adjust more quickly. They love pets, head scratched and belly rubs. We would be happy to speak to you about a foster to adopt situation too.....if its not working out in the first few months we will take them back into their current foster home. If you think you could give these 2 a happy home, please complete the online adoption inquiry form and a volunteer will be in touch! https://www.felinefriends.ca/foster-and-adoption

Story
FROST is a BIG BOY! The photos don't really show this. He's definitely a lover though, not a fighter. Even before he was neutered he was scared and shy but never attempted to swat or bite and he is happy to have the company of the other cats in his foster home. Limpy, who is partially blind has taken a real shine to Frost. We would love to see them stay together in a new home. If you are interested in hearing about Frost and Limpy please complete the short online inquiry form and a volunteer will be in touch. Tawny (orange and white male) also in the same foster home really seems to gravitate to these boys so if you don't think adopting 3 together would be too much, Tawny is also currently still available for adoption) https://www.felinefriends.ca/foster-and-adoption

Story
This is sweet Lil' Holly Smallz (as her foster dad has affectionately called her). She's a playful and energetic young adult. She was shy when she came to us (and will be when she goes to a new home initially) but she's really come out of her shell since she learned to trust people. She has quite short legs and a short tail, she's a cute little shorty! She loves her toys. She's quite affectionate though she's still learning to be a lap warmer. She'll sit in your lap, just not for very long though she's warming up to the idea. Holly will initially need a room of her own until she is comfortable with you. Lots of interactive play with wand toys, balls etc. will help Holly get to know you. She may also do well with the company of another young playful cat as she currently likes to play a little rough, nips etc. while playing. We would not recommend a home with little kids for Holly at this time. If you are interested in hearing more about her please complete the online adoption inquiry form and a volunteer will be in touch. Her adoption fee includes, spay/vaccines, min. 2 preventative deflea/deworm treatments and a microchip. https://www.felinefriends.ca/foster-and-adoption

Story
BILLY is a keeper! According to his foster mom he is ridiculously affectionate with both big and little people. Loves to cuddle into your neck or lay in your lap. He's a bit mischievious, acting very much like a kitten, batting things around, pushing items off the coffee table etc. He's also a little too food motivated and wants whatever you have on your plate too so some patience might be required to work on his mannters. He's a sweet boy who likes watching the world go by out the window too. He isn't a chatty cat but has a loud, contented purr which you'll hear often! We think he would probably love to have another young, neutered male cat to play with (and help keep the energy level to a minimum). We'll know more about that soon as we are moving him to a foster home with other cats. If you would like more info on Billy, please follow the link to complete the short online adoption inquiry form. https://www.felinefriends.ca/foster-and-adoption

Story
Jewel female ~ 1 yr FIV/FeLV negative Jewel came from a rural colony along with her 4 kittens when they were approximately 8 weeks old. She was a very patient and tolerant mom who even mothered the other stray kittens that came into foster care. Now that Jewel is done being a wonderful mother its her time to start enjoying life. She is an easy going kitty who loves to lounge and observe. She loves her spot in the cat tree by the window. Jewel accepts and loves being pet though isn't seeking attention just yet. She is a very playful girl and enjoys the company of other cats. Jewel would benefit having another friendly feline in her forever home. She will need patience as she adjusts and learns to trust. She is a such a gentle sweet soul. Could you be Jewels happy every after? Jewel has been spayed, microchipped, is up to date on vaccines and received parasite control. ** Please note all of our eartipped kitties came in as adult strays and are still 'works in progress'. We felt they had great potential and have been actively socializing them. We feel they will grow faster in their forever home with more one on one attention. Their new humans will need to be patient with lots of love to help them be their best selves. They ALL deserve to be loved and spoiled in our opinion. This is what a true rescue cat looks like ❤️** If you'd like to apply and meet this girl you can find our application link in our "website" section on Facebook, emailed to rtcrescue104@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/realtroopercatrescue.ca/

Hailey Female Approx 3 yrs FIV and FeLV negative Hailey came to us with her kittens from a rural colony. Her kittens all found their forever homes and she finally started to learn how to enjoy life. She went from Spicy to Sweet! She is a gorgeous black cat with stunning green eyes. She is curious and intelligent. Hailey loves to chase wand toys, play with her track ball and watch CAT TV. She also enjoys chilling in the cat tunnel. She will follow her foster mom around seeking attention and love. She likes to lie down on the bed just beside her person and take naps, we think she could turn into a real snuggler. She has started to enjoy being picked up and pet. She has really flourished since she became confident and trusting of people. Hailey is so ready to find her very own people to love. She been fostered with other cats or can be a lone cat. Hailey has been spayed, and microchipped, she is up to date on vaccines and received parasite control. Penny (Formally Peanut) Female DOB May 13/12 Penny (Formally Peanut) Female DOB May 13/12 Penny, aka Peanut, was surrendered to us from the only home she ever knew. Sadly the dynamics of the home changed with 4 young kids coming into the picture. Penny began hiding all the time showing how unhappy she was and stress eating 😔 Her family knew she needed a different environment to be her best and reached out to RTCR. Penny has adjusted really well in foster care. Her foster family thoroughly enjoys her. Her disposition is lovely. She's very relaxed and content. She doesn't hide anymore. She meows when she wants something (food, to play, etc) She enjoys being pet and brushed and gives her robust purr to show her foster mom her love. She enjoyed her small canine friend in her previous home but wasn't keen on the other feline so might do best as an only kitty. Does Penny sound like your purrfect match? Contact us directly at rtcrescue104@gmail.com or find our application link in the contact section of our facebook page in place of our website. Penny is up to date on vaccines and spayed.

Harry DOB 2018 **Bonded with Meghan** Harry “aka Tank” is the chatterbox..he is the big boy that loves attention but has still retained some of his feral timid tendencies. He loves to graze on dry and takes a leisurely approach to eating preferring to enjoy rather than ravage the bowl. He tolerates his nails trimmed for the reward of “treats” afterwards. He likes to catch soft cat toys if you throw them for him and loves to get his head rubbed and chin scratches.

Story
Meghan DOB 2018 **Bonded to Harry** Has a diagnosis of Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome and is treated with a twice daily oral small dose of medicine called gabapentin (approx monthly expense of $25). She likes a few “Tempting Tuna Temptations Cat Treats” after getting her medication. She comes across as over inquisitive and will be in an unattended grocery bag before you know it. She just loves to be where humans are and likes to follow from room to room and she wants to be on the same side of the door as you are. She loves to nap in the sunshine and bird/squirrel watching in a window sill. Eating is not a high priority for Meghan but she will eat when hungry when moist is offered and will graze on dry if available. She is not super specific to any one brand of food. She likes to be up high preferring to sleep on the top perch of a cat stand or on the back of the couch. Likes when you throw soft cat toys so she can try to catch them. Megan is a vocal girl and pretty tolerant with nail trims and she likes to sleep on the bed at night with her humans.

Carter Apx age 2 FIV+ Fostered in Kitchener Carter is a very sweet boy! He likes to roll around and get pets. He enjoys belly rubs. He loves his food and human attention. He would do well with a person who is home more often than not. He could be an only cat or live with others who are FIV+ as well. Aside from his FIV+ status, he is in great health! This boy has lived outside likely most of his life but was shown kindness from humans and is so very sweet! He is loving his indoor life with comfy beds, a full belly and lots of human attention! He was brought in after the kind people feeding him saw he was injured. Carter deserves the best most spoiled indoor life he could have! I have been neutered, dewormed, debugged, microchipped and my vaccines. I am all set to find my new home and cant wait to meet you! Please email for an application: axelsimprintrescue@outlook.com
