Story
Stella is a 16 year old slightly large tabby cat. She has hyperthyroidism and eats a medicated dry food for it. She was rescued earlier in her life (approx 3 years old I believe) by college students from a shelter though the crowdedness and lifestyle in a house of college girls was overwhelming and she hid much of the time so one of the girls took her with her when she left. She stayed with that owner for about 7 years before being rehomed to me. Throughout her ownership I don’t believe she ever spent time with other cats or enjoyed being overcrowded. She thrives under consistent calm care a quiet lifestyle and took a few months for her to come out of her shell after she was last rehomed. She is more suited to a calm predictable lifestyle and doesn’t like to be around children much. She likes to stay lower and doesn’t climb much aside from couches and maybe a lower perch and therefore does well with houseplants up high. She can still be rather playful for her age but loves naps

Story
Meet Leo, a sweet 12-year-old senior cat looking for a loving home to spend his golden years. My siblings and I found him as a tiny stray kitten, and he’s been part of our family ever since. For most of his life, Leo lived with my dad. As my dad got older and could no longer care for him, I brought Leo into my home. Leo is incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle, play, and be close to his people. Leo enjoys children but would do best in a quiet home with a senior, single adult, or couple where he can be the center of attention. I believe he may have age-related health issues that I can’t afford to address. He eats Orijen Original cat food, which helps him maintain his weight, and he does best with a very clean litter box and a consistent routine. This is an incredibly difficult decision, and my only wish is for Leo to spend the rest of his life loved, comfortable, and well cared for. Leo deserves a quiet home where he can be loved as someone’s whole world.

Story
This is Chonk. He is a 10 year old indoor cat. I’ve had him for 2 years and, unfortunately, can’t keep him anymore. He is such a sweet cat, loves cuddles, and gets along great with other animals and people. He is also declawed in his front paws (was already declawed when I got him) I’m looking for someone to give him the love and attention that he deserves.

Story
Murray is a great5 year old male cat. He is very cuddly and affectionate. He is not a "jerk"cat, but he is definitely playful. He loves to curl up in laps and on chests if allowed. He can be very chill as well. His middle name is "the purr" because he purrs so much, as he is a happy guy. He is a complete gentleman when treated with respect. He doesnt really warm up to small children, but is never agressive and basically treats them indifferently. Same thing with over excited dogs. Otherwise he just chills and exists peacefully. He enjoys a day/few hours outdoors, but is absolutely an indoor cat. One time he was out for about 3 days. He came home, collapsed on the kitchen floor and slept for about 8 hours. He has not been out for more than the day since. He is a very loved little guy. The reason we are rehoming is a family member with a severe allergy.

Meet Wanda IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WANDA, PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO READ ABOUT THE PROCESS AND FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. www.furkidrescue.org Wanda was a young teenage kitten when we trapped her in a feral colony in Bethel Park. We had a cat experienced foster home willing to take her in as a foster and get her used to domestic life. It took months, but now she loves the indoors, and loves human affection and attention. She follows her foster mom, Emilie, around the house, “yelling” at her, and demanding pets and butt scratches. She also gets along well with the resident cats and dog, and you can often find her hanging out with the dog!

Story
Levi showed up at our new house as the friendliest little outdoor kitten we had ever met, and it didn’t take long for him to win our hearts. Now almost 4 years old, Levi is a cuddle bug who loves to snuggle but also loves to play wildly and show off his energetic side. He’s friendly with dogs and cats, though he’s a bit too playful for our older cat, and he loves being the center of attention. He’s enterprising, curious, and always up for interaction and he truly thrives on love and companionship.Levi has a few important needs:Requires an enclosed litter box (he cannot squat to pee)Needs a wet food diet for life due to a past urinary blockageLoves scratching posts, never scratches or bites peopleTries to dart outside, so indoor/outdoor access in a safe environment and/or an apartment is idealLevi would thrive in a home that can give him love, play, and attention. He is the perfect companion for someone ready for snuggles and adventure!
