Story
Molly is a beautiful and happy tabby girl who was saved with her littermates from a life on the streets. They all have found homes and now it is her turn! She is being fostered with cats and one big, gentle dog who she loves. She loves people but like most animals who were at one time abandoned, first needs to know she can trust you. This only takes a few days and then she is snuggly and very devoted to her person/people. Molly would do great in any loving, indoor home. Since she is so pawsome with other animals, she likely do will with an existing cat/kitten, feline-friendly dog or as your spoiled one and only! If you are interested in adopting Molly, please fill out our required application, which can be found here: https://form.jotform.com/253063262987161 For the safety of our animals, a home visit is required but we make this as unobtrusive and convenient as possible. THANK YOU for considering a rescue kitten!

Story
Hello World, meet Reggie! This INCREDIBLY sweet and loving ginger and white boy was dumped at a local residence and the community came to his aid and had him neutered, vetted and found a warm foster home for him to decompress. Now Salty Paws is helping this special boy find his furever home. The vet estimated him at about two years old, but he probably is a bit younger than that. Reggie was clearly loved at some point in his life and was never meant for a life on the streets. He is cuddly and just adores people. In fact, if you are big on personal space, he may not be your guy! He loves to be with you, on you, near you and just generally will be your BFFF (best feline friend forever), even when the going gets rough. He will listen and not judge. He also loves to play, eat, lay in the sun and be generally paw-some. Reggie has been great with all the other cats he has met white in our care; and would be excel in most loving, indoor homes. He has shown he is adaptable, resilient and just wants a safe place to lay his paws. Is that with you? If you would like to adopt Reggie, please fill out our required adoption application, which can be found here: https://form.jotform.com/253063262987161 For the safety of our pets, we also require a home check, but we make it as unobtrusive and convenient as we can. Thank you for considering a rescue cat!

Story
Hello World, meet Finn! He is being generously housed in the adoption cattery with charity partners Petsmart of Hilton Head (430 William Hilton Parkway) and Renegade Paws Rescue. They are helping Salty Paws’ cats locally get exposure to potential furever homes. You can visit him during Petsmart’s retail hours. Finn is a gorgeous silver tabby with the cute pink nose came to us after he was abandoned at a local plantation on Hilton Head Island and a small kitten. He was fostered in a loving home so he could get healthy and learn to trust people again. He has done GREAT! A true testament to his forgiving and loving spirit. Finn loves people and seems so sad when they leave. He has been amazing with every other cat he has been paired with and might even do well with a feline-friendly canine (with a proper assimilation). Finn is SO deserving a new home. He has waited far too long and is always overlooked for the younger, flashier kittens. We assure you, he is a diamond in the rough. He would do great in most loving, indoor homes, either as a pal to another cat or as your one-and-only. Won’t you give him a chance? If you would like to adopt Finn, please fill out our required application, which you can find here: https://form.jotform.com/253063262987161 For the safety of our animals, we also require a home visit, but we make it as unobtrusive and convenient as we can. Thank you for reading and considering a rescue kitten!

Story
Lulu is one out 2 from a 6 litter. His mom is the job pet. I have always been allergic to pets but not this one. I saved him from behind a wall on the job when just born. From there I took him to vet for proper treatment. I had him from June to now. He was birth in May. I’m putting him up for adoption so he can land in the hands of a loving family. I will provide all accessories in my possession.

Story
If you want the SWEETEST kitty in the world, Mac is your guy! Macadamia is a kitten that we have been fostering since his birth! We found his pregnant momma wandering hungry outside in freezing weather, and knew we had to take her in to save her and find her a home, and keep her from being put down in the shelters. Momma Pistachio (pictured) is also listed for adoption here! Mac is very friendly and outgoing; strangers are no problem for him. Being held like a baby is his favorite activity. I have a million more cute photos of him, I wish I could list them all! He would do best in a pair with his brother, Haze (Hazelnut). They’re very closely bonded; when Mac isn’t trying to love on you or play, he’s trying to get as close as he can to his brother. They spend so much of their time cuddled up together and playing together, and always seem so in sync. Plus, it’ll make your life MUCH easier to take younger cats in pairs, they’ll adjust to their new home better and be much happier.

Story
Pistachio (per her mustache and eyes color!) was found as a stray in January of this year, when it was icy and freezing out. My partner and I were driving home from work and saw her roaming near where we live, so we stopped to feed her. Before I even got the food out, she ran up to me and started rubbing my legs and purring, as friendly as could be. We immediately thought she must have been a lost pet, so we took her in with our other 2 cats while we tried to find her home. After a LOT of searching, it appeared that she was indeed a stray, or was abandoned. It also turned out that she was pregnant! We saved 5 lives that day. So we kept her to foster until she had the babies, as the shelters where we lived were not no-kill, or couldn’t take her in. She is very independent, yet friendly and outgoing, and likes to lay near her people, as well as curious, explorative, athletic, playful, and super cute. She’s very food motivated, and we’ve taught her to sit! She’s been rabies vaccinated.

Cashew is a kitten that we have been fostering since her birth! We found her pregnant momma wandering hungry outside in freezing weather, and knew we had to take her in to save her and find her a home, and keep her from being put down in shelters. Momma Pistachio (pictured) is also listed for adoption here! Cashew is a small girl, has the softest fur, and is remarkably affectionate. She’s not big on being held, but she is a master of the dolphin pets, and very very affectionate and loving, and will come cuddle with you frequently. She loves to greet you in the morning with lots of purrs and pets! She’s curious, fun, playful, silly, and very charming. She’d do alright on her own (with lots of love, play, and affection), or as a pair with her momma Pistachio! She has been an indoor cat only, and would do best remaining to be so. She’s been rabies vaccinated, but due to costs, we weren’t able to keep up with the rest of her vaccines, but she did have a few rounds.
