Kiki (black cat) is 7 and Trixie (Tabby) is 4. Both are good with other animals and kids. They are very loving cats. Kiki does experience some skin issues I believe may stem from allergies.

Story
I’m urgently looking for a loving home for two bonded sibling cats (1 year, 4 months old). We rescued them from a bad living situation, and they’ve been through a lot together, so I really want them to stay together.Unfortunately, I’m no longer able to give them the time and care they need as a full time college student. They are both sweet cats and have already received their shots and are microchipped. They will come with a litter box, food, a kennel, and toys.If you or someone you know can give them a safe, forever home, please reach out as soon as possible. I really want to keep them together and out of any further stress.

Story
Hello World, meet Rusty! This adorable little orange fellow came to Salty Paws with his brother and sister (Dusty and Sparkle, also adoptable) when they were abandoned on Hilton Head Island and left to fend for themselves. He is still a little bit scared, but doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. The older kittens and cats at the rescue are showing him the ropes and letting him know that people can be a LOT of fun and come bearing treats and toys and most of all, kindness and safety. Rusty is about 8 weeks old and is starting to be super playful, adventurous and will make just about anyone a wonderful new BFFF (best feline friend forever). He is outstanding with other cats, so would love a home with one of his siblings, another kitten/cat in our program or adopted into a home with an existing feline looking for a pal. Rusty is awaiting his final vetting and neuter, so is available as a foster-to-adopt. This allows him to get into a home sooner to bond with his furever family and make sure it is a great fit for all. We work with the adoptive home to orchestrate final vetting (which is financially covered by Salty Paws). To adopt Rusty, kindly fill out our easy, online application, which can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SPLC/Cat For the safety of our animals, home checks are also a requirement of adoption, but we make it is as convenient and unobtrusive as we can. THANK YOU for considering a rescue kitten!

Story
My name is Scarlet and I am 12 years old. I was found as a kitten on the street in a neighborhood in Eastern NC. My first owner was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s so I came to live with her granddaughter in York SC. I have been declawed from someone who didn’t know it was not good for me. I am very friendly and love laying in your lap. I am very talkative also. I love people and dogs. I will sleep with you if you let me. My mom is moving to a community that I am not allowed to go to. She is very sad and is looking for someone to care for me as she did.

Story
Meet your next Instagram star, Play Yard Jon! This ruggedly handsome guy with the gorgeous swirly tabby coat is a renovated street cat who quite frankly, wasn’t much of a fighter to begin with. He is clearly a lover, not a fighter. So he needed a bit of patching up when his Foster Mom (a professor in Savannah) found him looking for a kind soul to help him out. Within minutes, he had her wrapped around his paw. Although he has perfected the “grumpy face,” he is an EXTREMELY nice cat who is soaking up all the comforts and love of indoor living. Salty Paws is working with his Foster Mom to find him his epic furever home. We all have to work together to end this epidemic of abandoned animals. What we know is that Jon has excellent house manners, uses his litter box faithfully and is now healthy, neutered and has all his vaccines. He is estimated at 1-2 years old and is ready to begin his next chapter. Jon is super snuggly, smart and perceptive; and if you want an adoring lap cat, he is your man. Bring snacks and a blankie, because he is READY! He still has eight lives left! While we don’t know how Jon is with other cats, we suspect he would do great with a cat who is kind to him and/or maybe a cat-friendly dog. It is all a matter of a proper assimilation and we have volunteers to help you with that. If you are interested in adopting Play Yard Jon, please fill out our easy, online application, which can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SPLC/Cat For the safety of our animals, home checks are also a requirement of adoption, but we make that as convenient and unobtrusive as we can. Play Yard Jon is being fostered in Savannah.

Story
Maisie is extremely sweet and loving. Maisie was coming into our workshop to eat where I would leave food out for ferals. Within a week she was cautiously coming closer and wanting to be petted somewhat. She was quite aware that her surroundings were not safe and kept hidden until she heard me coming with the food. We live in a very rural area. She obviously did not start her life being an outside loner and would walk with me until I got too far away from the shop. She is inside now and getting much needed rest from the stress of survival. I have done several rescues and she rates at the top.Her ideal home I think would be with an older knowledgeable adopter. She would love someone to be home a good portion of the day, just know she would be ready to greet you home. She loves to cuddle in your arms. Because of her probably being put out she has to learn that you love her. It took less than a week for me just feeding her and sitting with her.
