Story
Kitty was adopted from Paws in March by a neighbor who has given us permission to rehome her, as he can not provide an indoor setting for her, she is therefore up to date on vaccines as of March 2026 and is already spayed. She is a wonderful kitty that turned up on my doorstep during a night of bad weather, she is very friendly with humans and would do better as an indoor cat as all she wants is to be loved on. Unfortunately I can not keep her as I have two indoor cats that she does not get on with. She was scared of my young grandchildren (aged 3 and 2), maybe ok with older children. I gave her a flea treatment on May 13th, I urgently need to find her a new home as she is upsetting my indoor cats but i don't feel right ignoring her. I will provide written evidence of the current legal owners permission to rehome to the new owners so chip transfer will be easier.

Kiki (black cat) is 7 and Trixie (Tabby) is 4. Both are good with other animals and kids. They are very loving cats. Kiki does experience some skin issues I believe may stem from allergies.

Story
I’m urgently looking for a loving home for two bonded sibling cats (1 year, 4 months old). We rescued them from a bad living situation, and they’ve been through a lot together, so I really want them to stay together.Unfortunately, I’m no longer able to give them the time and care they need as a full time college student. They are both sweet cats and have already received their shots and are microchipped. They will come with a litter box, food, a kennel, and toys.If you or someone you know can give them a safe, forever home, please reach out as soon as possible. I really want to keep them together and out of any further stress.

Story
Hello World, meet Rusty! This adorable little orange fellow came to Salty Paws with his brother and sister (Dusty and Sparkle, also adoptable) when they were abandoned on Hilton Head Island and left to fend for themselves. He is still a little bit scared, but doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. The older kittens and cats at the rescue are showing him the ropes and letting him know that people can be a LOT of fun and come bearing treats and toys and most of all, kindness and safety. Rusty is about 8 weeks old and is starting to be super playful, adventurous and will make just about anyone a wonderful new BFFF (best feline friend forever). He is outstanding with other cats, so would love a home with one of his siblings, another kitten/cat in our program or adopted into a home with an existing feline looking for a pal. Rusty is awaiting his final vetting and neuter, so is available as a foster-to-adopt. This allows him to get into a home sooner to bond with his furever family and make sure it is a great fit for all. We work with the adoptive home to orchestrate final vetting (which is financially covered by Salty Paws). To adopt Rusty, kindly fill out our easy, online application, which can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SPLC/Cat For the safety of our animals, home checks are also a requirement of adoption, but we make it is as convenient and unobtrusive as we can. THANK YOU for considering a rescue kitten!
