Story
Leonardo da Vinci observed: "The smallest feline is a masterpiece." This makes us think of our precious Vintage, a beautiful orange Tabby who is ready for a family to love and care for her. Here is her story told by her foster Mom: "Sweet Vintage has returned to the shelter and is ready for her forever home. She is 11 years young and FIV+. Vintage has been steadily gaining weight (seriously though—so much weight) while battling a respiratory infection and UTI in foster with me and her other foster Diane. She had a rough go of it for a while, but she remained her sweet, affectionate self the entire time. No matter how badly she felt, would attempt to get up to greet me every time I came in the room." Vintage does well with people of all ages, and also gets along with dogs and other cats. Dear Vintage deserves a family where she can live out her golden years. Could it be yours? E-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information! Please come visit! We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Story
Erling (floof) and Jude (cheeks) are still looking for the home(s) they deserve where they can shine just as they are. They are thriving in a foster home where after only a week they have stopped hiding in their cave and are accepting lickable treats (the true way to their hearts) by hand. Erling will even accept gentle pets as long as you keep the treats coming. But here's the thing...they are not lap cats, and they may never be. Erling and Jude not going to greet every visitor at the door. Instead they are quiet, respectful roommates. Erling and Jude will admire you from across the room. They will happily supervise your day from the windowsill. Erling and Jude will keep an eye on the house and appreciate the comforts of indoor life and somewhere where they are accepted and loved for who they are. They are perfectly happy to simply co-exist. These middle-aged brothers (six years) are FIV+ which means they can live long, happy lives inside but are not well suited for barn life. They enjoy each other's company but don't snuggle or appear to be truly bonded so they can be adopted together or separately. After months of waiting, we hope Erling and Jude can finally get the chance to be indoor cats without expecting them to become cuddle bugs overnight. Since they are currently in a foster home, please e-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information or call Cheatham County Animal Control at 615-792-3647 if you would like to meet them. We think you will be glad you did! E-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information! Please come visit! We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Story
Gizmo: he can be so sweet and cuddly. He can also be not nice and bite/ swat for attention. He does bite hard and can be grumpy. The biting has lessened up throughout the years as he gets older. He likes to keep to himself mostly; coming out for pets then will go back to being by himself. I got him when he was tiny back in 2015 and over the years he has grown to be very plump (he does meow and swat for food even if it is still in his bowl so I just keep it full). He really can be so loving it pains me to make this message; I never thought I’d be a person that would have to do this to move out of state but here we are. I just need someone to find him that loves grumpy cats and give him love when he asks for it. He has been great around our toddler never went to swat or bite him. With our dog he is great also. He isn’t a fan or the vet or people that come into our house but after he comes out to sniff them he retreats to his fav hiding spot in my closet. LMK if there are any questions.

Story
This is my sweet boy Turtle, he is about 10 years old, he’s a huge cuddle bug! He is supper shy at first but once he comes around he loves you to pieces, he has never hissed, bitten, or scratched anyone ever. I’m so to be re homing him, he has been with me since I was 12 but unfortunately we are moving and we can’t take him with us. I’d love for him to go to a nice quiet home where he can be loved and live out the rest of his life

Story
Psyche (Sci-Key): A Professional Lap Warmer & Bread Enthusiast. Her love for sleeping above your head and her hilarious "critiques" of singing and whistling.Once she is comfortable with you she will let you cradle her like a baby. She is seeking a single-pet, no-kid household. Since losing her best friend (her dog), she has decided she prefers to be the solo queen of her castle."Psyche has a sensitive stomach and a passion for carbs! She requires a dry-food-only diet served in a slow feeder and a home where the bread is kept behind cabinet doors." She loves cheese and eggs but any amount more than a tiny nibble will be too much for her to handle. She will want your attention all the time. When she is excited she will do little barrel rolls. She will use traditional and automatic litter boxes. She loves feather toys.

Story
Finn is fun. He has a ton of energy. He will let you hold him (Only in one position). He will snuggle and sleep with you at night. He loves to play with laser pointers and feathers. He loves handheld massagers. He will become vocal and want his turn for it. He drinks water out of the kitchen and bath faucet. Even the tub faucet. He loves to climb and to be in the window. If the kitchen cabinet is open he will go inside. If there is a cat tower he will try to always get his preferred spot. He loves to be on top of the fridge. He is very social. He does get cuddle aggression and will nip when you stop petting him. Not hard though. If there are other cats in the house and he is bored he will start stuff with them so they play with him. We found him as a stray kitten. Someone dumped him in the woods by our house. We have had him for 7 years. He was 6 months when we got him. We would keep him but cannot due to moving cross country. He does need a daily inhaler for his asthma.
