Story
Three year old Metro isn't much of a morning person. Or an afternoon person, for that matter. During shelter hours, you'll usually find her tucked safely away in her cubby, avoiding the hustle and bustle of visitors, barking dogs, and all the other chaos that comes with shelter life. If you interrupt Cubby Time during daylight, she might even tell you to get lost. But once the doors close and the shelter grows quiet, Metro transforms. Out comes a sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys attention, seeks out companionship, and shows her true personality. In the calm of the evening, she's friendly, loving, and happy to spend time with her people and feline friends. Metro gets along well with other cats and would thrive in a peaceful home with adults, and would be okay with gentle older children. If you're looking for a cat who marches to the beat of her own drum and saves her best self for those she trusts, Metro may be your perfect match E-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information! Please come visit! We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Story
Not every cat dreams of being the life of the party. Stretch Marks and Pregnant are six years old and have watched every other cat from their "baby" themed group head off to new homes. Three months later, these two handsome gentlemen are still waiting. They're not lap cats. They're not going to greet every visitor at the door. They aren't interested in pretending to be something they're not. Instead, they're quiet, respectful roommates. They'll admire you from across the room. They'll happily supervise your day from the windowsill. They'll keep an eye on the house, make sure no mouse gets any funny ideas, and appreciate the comforts of indoor life, such as a soft bed, sunny windows, regular meals, and a home where they're accepted exactly as they are. If you earn their trust, they'll let you know. If not, they're perfectly content to simply coexist. These middle-aged brothers have immune systems that aren't well suited for barn life, so they're hoping someone will give them the chance to be indoor cats without expecting them to become cuddle bugs overnight. If you've ever said, "I just want some beautiful cats to quietly exist in my house," these might just be your guys. Some cats are extroverts. Stretch Marks and Pregnant are proudly, unapologetically introverts, and they're hoping there's someone out there who will love them for exactly who they are! E-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information! Please come visit! We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Story
"Cats are angels with paws." This makes us think of our precious Dink. Dink is a 5-year-old brown and white short haired tabby with the sweetest little face and an even sweeter personality. She’s already settled into foster care like a pro, and her foster mom absolutely adores her. Her official hobbies include supervising the house, hanging out nearby, and turning herself into a lap accessory whenever possible. Dink does have hyperthyroidism, which means she needs medication twice a day, but don’t let that scare you off. Her meds can be given as an oral liquid OR as a cream applied to her ear. Easy peasy. With treatment, cats with hyperthyroidism can live long, happy, comfortable lives, and Dink is ready to do exactly that with someone who loves her. She comes with a generous supply of her meds already on board. She’s already spayed and ready to head home. All she’s missing is the actual home part. We know special medical needs can make cats get overlooked, but Dink is the kind of cat who makes the extra step feel very small. Dink is in a foster home, so if you'd like to meet her, let us know and we would be happy to arrange that. E-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information! Please come visit! We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Story
This handsome boy is as sweet as they come! He loves being carried around, will happily chat with you throughout the day, and wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing. Whether he’s following you from room to room or telling you all about his day, you’ll never feel alone with him around. He’s playful, affectionate, and has never met a meal he didn’t enjoy—his sturdy physique is proof that he’s a true food enthusiast! He gets along well with most other animals and does great with kids. He would likely do best with active companions who can keep up with his social and playful nature. Would prefer a home were he can go outside in limited form. Also loves to play and would do best with another playmate to help with his active lifestyle. If you’re looking for a loving, interactive cat who will become a true member of the family, this sweet boy is ready to steal your heart (and maybe a few treats).
