Story
We would like to request that Lexi be adopted into your "Working Pet" program - preferably inside a warehouse, factory, etc. She is terrified for the most part of the outdoors. I cannot in good conscience have her adopted into another home. She crawled up into the engine of my sister's car when she was an older kitten. I have had cats off and on my entire life (i'm 71 years old) and my sister begged me to take her as she has 2 big dogs. I took her, thinking we could make this work, but 2 years later, a visit to the Emergency room for a bad bite on my leg and what seems like 100's of bandaids from scratches (we regularly trim her nails), I have made the hard, hard decision that she is feral and/or brain damaged. She follows me around like a puppy but is terrified when people come over or her routine is interrupted. We go see our grandchildren and when we return she is either desperate for play OR angry that we left and scratches me. I will donate anything needed for your help.

Story
Leo is a very friendly loving cat. He is a large male orange tabby weighs about 12 to 14 pounds . I would like to find him a home that is familiar with raising cats and is a larger home because he has lots of energy and needs room to run and play. I have a smaller female cat and I was hoping they would bond and become buddies, but that has never happened. He has been strictly an indoor cat, he’s never roamed outside, so I prefer for him to remain indoors, (as it is safer) although a part of me thinks if somebody lived out in the country far from roadways, like on a farm then I feel that would be a great place for him. I’m not sure how he is around children. I have a full-time job, so I am not here most of the time, and I think he would be happier with a family where people are home. He has never had any health issues and is current on all his vaccinations.

Story
Romeo is one year old, he’s a big boy and weighs close to 15 pounds. He’s neutered and has a chip as well. He’s also litter box trained. We’re looking for a nice home for him because hes not getting along well with our two girl cats. Romeo loves to sleep with you and likes to be shown love. He’s playful and loves rubbing against your leg. He’s a loner cat although he likes to play around with other cats, he prefers to be on his own. Please message if interested

Story
We found Willow on the side of the road in downtown Mansfield, late February of 2024. When we took her to the vet we found out that she was hypothermic, and about 2 weeks old. They said if we hadn't found her that night she wouldn't have made it to the next morning. She's now a happy 2 year old and a first time mom to one kitten named Possie. Willow was originally an indoor cat but swithched to indoor/ outdoor for about 1 ½ years now. She absolutely loves sun bathing in our front yard. She loves to cuddle and play with her laser, she's very sassy when you touch her paws, and loves to lay in my husband's lap when he sits at the computer. She'll catch all the bugs that may get in your house. However she's never brought a dead anything to the door, which I am very great full for! If your worried that she might need too much attention, please don't, as silly as she is. She also loves her alone time taking a nap, people watching, and sun bathing. I hope you love her as much as we do.

Story
Potatoes is a cat who loves attention, and you’ll find him to be a lap cat once he gets to know you. He is very cautious with new people and places, but once he warms up he is very playful and loving and wants to be with you. He is an indoor cat, and is pretty small like his mother was. About 7-8lbs. He is gentle with children, and even withstands tackles from toddlers without much reaction. While he does get along great with kids and loves attention, he does like time for himself and can get overwhelmed by too much, which will make him run off to groom himself for a bit before he comes back. His favorite toys tend to be paper balls and broken kid toys, as well as his scratch pads. He is looking for a home where he can be given attention and time throughout the day, and hasn’t space to roam and be himself.

Story
Oreo is a shy girl that takes a long time to warm up to people. She loved her original family and slept with her favorite girl, but then she was moved here and really struggled to adapt. She decided she likes her foster mom, and she can be petted, now, but it took a long time. She is actually a really sweet girl who just needs someone to give her a chance. Because she has struggled so much, we're willing to consider a SAFE indoor/outdoor situation for her. She's been indoors since she was young, so we'll be really picky about what safe means. She'll need a really patient, gentle adopter, preferably a lady as men seem to make her nervous.

Story
Nicki is a bit over a year old - he's a very handsome, hefty boy. He's funny and sweet, but a bit shy. He will probably need an adopter with some patience to give him some time to decide everything's okay. He would probably really like to have a buddy or two. He's been more social with me lately. Maybe I smell like bacon. I'm not sure why. It wouldn't hurt to try bacon-scented perfume. Just sayin'. FIV/FeLV negative.

Story
Little Clover is shy, silly, and sweet. He started life outside, and had to be trapped and relocated because the situation wasn't safe for him anymore. He's very difficult to give medication to, and he has a bite history that occurred when he was getting a painful shot. He has never tried to bite outside of medication situations. He's really a sweet little guy that I've fallen in love with, but his new family will have to be patient with him and teach him that they're not a danger and he's safe. He would really like a young playmate or buddy. He watches the other cats to see how to act in the house. He's just a tiny little adorable guy that needs more work. ❤️
