Rocky is a very social and friendly cat. He loves to sit on your lap and hang out with you. He’s a great companion. The only problem we have with him is that he is a big eater, and his food intake will have to be monitored and controlled. He will try to take more than his fair share of food from his sister, as they currently share a bowl. Sansa is an incredibly sweet cat. She’s more independent than her brother and will leave you alone for most of the day but still enjoys being pet and will come hang out with you. For anyone interested in adopting them, I do have a couple of conditions: First, since they’re littermates, they MUST be adopted together because they have a very close relationship. Second, they must remain indoor cats because they’ve been indoor cats their entire lives. Third, I won’t adopt these cats to a house that has a dog – they HATE dogs. Both are 7.5 years old. Peanut and her sister, Butter, are two of the sweetest cats you will ever meet. Peanut gives the best cuddles and loves to receive attention and affection. She has been raised in a home with another cat, a dog and children and loves everyone. She would be a great addition to any family.

After a year, the lady decided she was not going to be able to take the cats back and asked us to help rehome them. Petey is super sweet and gets along with everyone. Peppa is a bit more shy than her brother but is still super sweet. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and tends to get picked on by other cats. Peppa and Petey would do well in a household by themselves, or with other friendly cats and/or dogs.

We often wonder what the back story is to the cats that end up in our program, especially when they are extremely sweet and friendly. Were they dumped? Did they get lost? Did they belong to someone who passed away? These thoughts ran through our mind when we met Reecie today. She is emaciated and we could feel every bone in her tiny body but she is a sweetheart who is comfortable around people and does well with other cats. We’re not sure if the name, Reecie, matches her gentle personality. This was the name her foster gave her as her fur is the color of Reese’s Peanut Butter cups. Considering her sweetness and the kindness of her rescuer, we feel the name ‘Hope’ suits her better. We truly hope she finds the loving home she deserves. Cholula is the snuggliest cat ever. She loves to rub against you and enjoys being held and given attention. was rescued from the backyard of one of our fosters by a local shelter. As staff thought she might be feral, they tipped her ear. However, Cholula turned out to be friendly, loving and ended up being a perfect indoor kitty. She is now ready for her forever home.
