Story
We got Biscuit from the Chesapeake Shelter when he was four months old old. He is now 10 months old and is very sweet with our 4 year old daughter and gets along great with our dog, whos a bigger bread. We have tried resolving this but our new landlord is not okay with us having in our home and we dont have the option to move. He would do great with a family who can play with him as he’s still young and loves to play! He is shy with new people but warms up fast.

Story
Cartier is the sweetest cat. I’ve never owned a cat before and love him so much. My previous partner and I got him. We are no longer together and now that I moved on it’s hard to manage my new living situation with my cat. He’s 1, birthday is in April. He lovessss to play so he would probably love another friend cat or dog around. He listens every well. Doesn’t climb on counters and not aggressive. Please help

Story
Good morning, We are a manufactured housing community in Prince George County VA caring for abiut 50-100 community cats. We have spayed/neutered and vaccinated close to 40, re-homed about 10 and lost a few 😞 We just found out yesterday that one of the male cats we took to get neutered has stomatits. We dont want to release him back into the community because of his prognosis. If we do the dental work and pull his teeth, he would have to be in a home. Can you offer any help or know of someone who can? Thanks! Jenn David

Story
Meet our sweet chocolate-brown girl! This beautiful brown chocolate kitty is a total lovebug who lives for snuggles and attention. She may be a little timid at first, but once she feels safe, her affectionate personality shines through. She’s quite the chatterbox and isn’t shy about telling you when she wants love, cuddles, or company. She does have a habit of eating a bit too fast, so she benefits from slow feeding and gentle monitoring at mealtime. With a little patience and care, she does great and thrives in a calm, loving environment. If you’re looking for a soft, sweet, talkative companion who will happily curl up with you and soak up all the affection, this snuggly girl is ready to steal your heart. 💕🐱

Story
I feel that this cat has potential for adoption because she has basically "adopted me". She waits for my truck each day until I get there to feed her and has hops in the truck with me to get warm during this so far unforgiving winter. I put a small pet house behind the bushes where she stays most of the time, but she likes to roam the parking lot and I'm afraid that one day some crazy tenant driving like a maniac might hit her. Once fed, she becomes very affectionate. I cannot take her inside my apartment because the rental company here charges an outrageous initial fee for pets and $35 a month every month thereafter. I'm much older, retired and on a fixed income and I simply cannot afford her food, litter, medical care or the monthly fees. I'm at my wits end as far as what to do with this situation and I hate that she has to endure this freezing weather. I seriously need help with this problem.
