Story
After making one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make, we've decided to look for a new home for our sweet sisters, Tito and Squirt. We adopted them together as kittens, and they've been a loved part of our family ever since. Over the years, our home has changed quite a bit. With a young child and kids regularly in and out of the house, it's become a much busier and louder environment than they seem comfortable with. The increased activity has caused anxiety for one of them, which has led to litter box issues. After a lot of thought, we truly believe they would thrive in a calmer, quieter home where they can feel relaxed and secure again. They are bonded sisters, so we'd like to keep them together. This decision comes from love and wanting what's best for them—not because we don't care. We simply want them to have the peaceful home they deserve. If you or someone you know can provide a quiet, loving forever home for Tito and Squirt, please send me a message. We'd love to talk

Story
We adopted Milo as a kitten. He is approximately 8 years old. Milo had his shots as a kitten and was neutered and microchipped. However, his chip was never registered so that is something you still have the option to do.Milo has unfortunately not had much vet care since due to financial reasons but he is in good health and has no medical issues. The reason Milo is looking for a new home is because he has become unhappy being in a multi-pet home. In the past, he did not have any behavioral issues but began urinating outside of the litter box. There is no underlying medical issues so I am confident that this would subside if he were in a one pet household. He is not aggressive and is friendly towards people of all ages. He is a sweet, sensitive boy who loves to be held, cuddle and give kisses.

Story
Meet Courtney, a sweet senior lady who`s ready to leave her farm colony days behind and enjoy the pampered life she deserves. This gentle girl is FIV-positive and has had all of her teeth removed, but don`t let that fool you—she`s comfortable, happy, and more than ready to soak up affection.Courtney has a kind, easygoing personality and would likely do well in a home with other respectful cats. That said, after everything she`s been through, she certainly wouldn`t mind being the queen of the house and having all the attention to herself! If you`re looking for a loving companion who will appreciate every cozy bed, sunny window, and gentle pet, Courtney is ready to show you just how grateful she can be. She`s spent enough time taking care of herself—now it`s her turn to be spoiled.FIV-positive cats can safely live with FIV-negative cats, as the virus is primarily spread through deep bite wounds—not sharing food bowls, litter boxes, or cuddling. Since Courtney no longer has any teeth, she isn`t able to transmit FIV through biting, making her an especially easy companion for a multi-cat household. This cat is a member of our Forget-Me-Not program, which features animals who have been waiting a little longer than average for a home. Some need a specific type of family, while others have simply been overlooked. To help them find their perfect match, their adoption fee has been waived. This cat attends adoption events at our Verona Adoption Center on Saturdays from 10am to 2:30pm and Sundays from 12pm to 3pm.READY TO ADOPT? Story
If you`ve been looking for a cat with a quiet, laid-back personality...Smith would like you to know you`ve come to the wrong profile. This handsome tuxedo has one speed: **all in**.Smith turns absolutely everything into a game. A toy? Fantastic. A crumpled receipt? Even better. An invisible speck on the floor? Clearly his greatest opponent yet. He`s a big talker, an enthusiastic helper, and firmly believes that whatever you`re doing should probably involve him. He`s also incredibly people-oriented. Smith loves being with his humans and wants to be part of every moment of your day. The flip side? When he`s overstimulated or has energy to burn, he can get a little mouthy. Smith will do best in a home that gives him plenty of space to run, climb, explore, and play. A small apartment probably isn`t the right fit. He`ll need patient adopters who understand that he`ll likely need time to decompress after all the changes he`s been through, along with lots of interactive play and enrichment to keep his busy mind occupied.Smith should go to a home without young children. He may enjoy a confident, playful dog, as he doesn`t seem fazed by canine friends, but introductions should always be done thoughtfully.Smith would thrive with adopters who enjoy interacting with their cat. Puzzle toys, training sessions, climbing furniture, and lots of interactive play will help keep his busy brain engaged. With his confidence and curiosity, he may even be a great candidate for leash training and outdoor adventures with a patient adopter. The right person won`t see Smith as `too much.` They`ll see him for what he is: a brilliant, hilarious, endlessly entertaining cat with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. Give him the space, structure, and attention he craves, and you`ll have a best friend who`s always ready for the next adventure. This cat attends Saturday adoption events (10 AM to 2:30 PM) and Sunday Adoption Events (12pm to 3pm) at our Verona Adoption Center.READY TO ADOPT? Story
Cooper, Evangeline, Archie, and Bubba didn`t have the easiest start in life. Born in a barn, they spent their first weeks learning that people should be avoided. When they arrived at Angel`s Wish, they were understandably unsure of the strange humans trying to care for them.Fast forward to today, and these four have made incredible progress! Every day they become a little braver, greeting their caregivers for meals, exploring new toys, accepting gentle pets, and rewarding kind attention with happy purrs. They may still greet you with a tiny hiss now and then, but don`t let that fool you. It`s simply an old habit that quickly melts away once they realize you`re there to offer treats, playtime, and affection.Because they`re still building confidence, they`ll do best with a patient family that understands they`ll need a little time to settle into a new home. The reward is watching them blossom as they discover just how wonderful life as a beloved family cat can be.These kittens have always had feline friends by their side and will need another playful, confident cat in their new home. They`d also be thrilled to be adopted with one of their siblings! If you`re looking for the joy of helping a kitten continue their journey from timid to treasured, one of these sweet little ones may be the perfect addition to your family. This cat attends Saturday adoption events (10 AM to 2:30 PM) and Sunday Adoption Events (12pm to 3pm) at our Verona Adoption CenterREADY TO ADOPT?
