Story
This is Superman, also known as Clark Kent. He’s looking for a special home. You might have noticed that he has no eyes. An unfortunate accident with kryptonite (or more likely a bacterial infection) caused this. He came to his foster mom a few months ago timid, skinny, and sort of helpless. He didn’t know what a litter box was. He often ran into walls causing nosebleeds and he was missing big scabby patches of fur. He was not very pretty sight. But one thing he did have going for him was he liked his food; really, REALLY liked his food! Now Clark is basically a normal cat. He plays with noisy toys such as balls with bells, crunchy aluminum foil balls, and toy mice with tails. He runs for no particular reason, jumps skillfully to higher spots (not sure how he does that), and sharpens his claws on a corrugated scratcher. He consistently uses his litterbox, although he does prefer clean pine pellets over other litters. His foster mom is tempted to keep him, but the other cats in the house aren’t having it. Mr. Kent knows what dogs are, but the two knuckle-heads he lives with like to play rough, and so far, have not gotten the “opportunity” to formally meet. Perhaps foster mom is being overly protective? It`s high time Superman flies to his forever home.Superman is currently in a foster home so if you’d like to meet him, please email shelter@greencountyhumane.org to set up a meet & greet.
