Story
Our gentle giant. Shy at first but warms up quickly. Gentle and loving. Gets along great with other cats and dogs in home but younger kids scare him-he runs and hides. Older kids 10+ he is not so scared of. Loves his toys and to cuddle. Would be a perfect fit for a calmer household. He is 5 years old.

Story
Rascal is a sweet, almost 9-year-old cat (summer baby) who came from a rescued litter found in a local park. He’s been an amazing family pet and this decision is incredibly difficult for us. Rascal is very laid-back, enjoys being pet, and will snuggle on his terms. He plays occasionally but mostly loves a calm, cozy environment. After a move with my son, Rascal experienced stress that led to a bladder issue, which was treated by a vet. He is currently healthy and up to date on care. Recently, he has started occasionally pooping outside the litter box, which we believe is stress-related. Rascal is not a fan of dogs (at least not our high energy dog), and we feel he would do best in a quiet home as the only pet. We’re hoping to find him a stable environment where he can feel comfortable and thrive. He truly is a wonderful cat and deserves the right home.

Story
Meet Shasta — a shy sweetheart who’s quietly learning to trust the world.Shasta is a beautiful brown-and-white tabby who came to us with her brother, Star, but they do not need to be adopted together. What Shasta does need is another friendly, confident cat in her new home — a feline buddy who can show her the ropes and help her feel safe.Shasta is still finding her confidence with people. She isn’t quite ready for much hands-on attention yet, but she’s safe, cared for, and making slow, steady progress. With time, patience, and a calm environment, she’ll continue to blossom at her own pace. She often greets even her human friends with a quick hiss, but then allows pets. If you have a quiet home, room in your heart for a shy kitty, and a resident cat who would welcome a new friend, Shasta may be the perfect match. To help her find a new home faster, Shasta is an Angel`s Wish Forget-Me-Not and her adoption fee has been reduced to $0 (fully waived). This cat attends Saturday adoption events (10 AM to 2:30 PM) and Sunday Adoption Events (12pm to 3pm) at our Verona Adoption Center, and may also be adopted by appointment during the week by approved adopters. Story
Hi, I`m MISS TEA! I`m a retired momma cat, and I`m ready to relax and enjoy the good life in my new forever home. I`m a bit shy, but once I warm up to you, I can be quite affectionate and love to get pets and loving. I`m a talker too, and I`ll gladly share all my knowledge and opinions if it looks like you`re interested. ;) Did I mention I`m really good with other cats? In my foster home, I like to snuggle with another cat during morning naps, and I enjoy chasing and wrestling for play time too! It`s been a busy time for me, but I hope to find my forever home soon. Will it be yours?Because I`ve been waiting a long time for a new home, I`m now an Angel`s Wish Forget-Me-Not, and my adoption fee will be waived for an approved adopter. READY TO ADOPT? With a little time to settle in, Athens is shaping up to be a fun, engaging companion who’s ready to leave her past behind and fully embrace the good life.If you’re looking for a young cat who’s blossoming right before your eyes, Athens is ready to keep growing with you. This cat attends Saturday adoption events (10 AM to 2:30 PM) and Sunday Adoption Events (12pm to 3pm) at our Verona Adoption Center.READY TO ADOPT?
