Zeke is a handsome, resilient boy who, through no fault of his own, found himself searching for a new home. He's more than ready to embark on his next chapter, seeking a loving, forever family to call his own. Zeke is a bundle of joyful energy, known for his silliness and ability to bring a smile to anyone's face. While he may start off shy, it doesn't take long for his true personality to shine through. He quickly becomes an enthusiastic playmate who thrives on the company of other dogs and will gleefully encourage them to play. Zeke is a smart and well-mannered companion. He is potty-trained and comfortable in his crate. He also knows basic commands like "sit" and "go to your room," and his eagerness to please makes him a joy to train further. While he’s working on managing his excitement (which sometimes results in enthusiastic leaps!), his good intentions are always clear. Walks are a highlight of his day, offering him a chance to explore and burn off some of that youthful energy. His barks will let you know precisely when he needs to go outside or when he hears you approaching the door. If you’re seeking an active, affectionate, and charming dog who promises boundless love and entertainment, Zeke could be the perfect addition to your home. Meet the Chicken Littles: Brahma, Dominique, Sussex, Silkie, Wyandotte & Leghorn. They are full of personality, charm, and a little bit of farmfresh mischief. With soft coats, bright eyes, and those irresistible ears that tip forward like they’re always listening in on the gossip, these puppies are impossible not to love. Their shepherd/Aussie mix gives them a great blend of intelligence, loyalty, and energy — perfect for families who want a smart, affectionate companion to grow up with. These Chicken Littles are ready to hatch a brand-new life with you. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2654769##
