Story
Cooper is one of two dogs from the litter we kept he is a little anxious and therefore with the toddler we have in the home we do not feel comfortable having him in the home without being watched supervised. He is two just as of last May and is good with his brother and a cat that he was raised with. We walk often travel and enjoy our time together. I will really miss him, but he deserves to be in a great home. Thank you for your consideration.

Story
Meet Clementine! Meet Clementine! This adorable 8-month-old pup was found as a stray and waiting patiently at a rural shelter before getting her chance at a brighter future. While we can only guess at her breed mix, we think she may have some Border Collie in her and she certainly has the smarts and enthusiasm to match! Clementine is a happy-go-lucky, affectionate, and social young dog who loves being around people and is always ready to join in on the fun. She’s an intelligent girl with lots of potential and is looking for an active home that can continue guiding her as she grows into a well-mannered, fulfilled adult dog. As she settles in, we’re still learning more about her personality, but so far Clementine has been an absolute delight. With some basic training, consistency, and plenty of positive outlets for her energy and brainpower, we think she is going to blossom into a truly wonderful companion. She is currently sharing a space with a female dog and doing well, however we think she would be best suited long-term with a mature male dog or as an only dog. Her history with cats is unknown. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful pup to share your adventures and daily life with, Clementine may be your perfect match! Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Clementine's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website! Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Clementine would do great in a home with...Cats : Dogs : Yep!  Kiddos : Yep!   ##2747375##

Story
Finn and Ollie are super healthy 3 year old brothers Sweet but rambunctious non-aggressive and great guard dogs barking when needed They are never far from each other They pull on leashes when excited And pull if they spot squirrels but do calm down after 15 minutes into walk Ollie is very attentive to owner and really loves to be near his brother Polite eaters not beggars know how to sit easily w command They also open and close doors in the house and are always gentle with humans but get excited and jump when someone new comes to visit They ideally need a 2+ person household, no cats and someone strong to walk Finn I alone am unable to walk them both any longer without heavy pulling but after 10–15 they calm down and a hour walk can be enjoyable At home, they have spurts of rough-housing , lots of energy and very verbal play but they quiet down nicely most of the day and sleep thru the night They both have distinct and funny personalities

Story
Patches is a 2 1/2 year old, 60 lb Australian Shepherd whose owner passed away unexpectedly. A 75 year old friend has been caring for him, but his Aussie energy is too much for her to handle. Patches is a very happy, affectionate and enthusiastic boy who needs help learning not to jump up when greeting people. He currently lives with his female littermate and loves to play chase with her. He also loves his ball! When boarded with other dogs, he tends to be standoffish and shy at first but warms up after a day or so. He's also been around goats, chickens and cats and pays them no mind. Patches would do well in a home with older kids who won't be knocked down by his exuberance and someone who will give him daily exercise. He will need further training on leash work, jumping up and barking at visitors. Overall, he's a loving boy who wants to go on adventures. Aussie experience a huge plus.
