Meet Olive—the Red Merle Rocket with a Heart of Gold in Search of Her Forever!
Looking for a sidekick who’s equal parts athlete, genius, protector, and snuggle bug? Meet Olive—a 2-year-old, 30-pound Australian Shepherd with a full tail, a red-merle coat, and a master’s degree in being awesome.
Olive is the adventure buddy of your dreams:
Car rides? She’ll call shotgun.
Walks and hikes? Lace up those shoes.
Ball, tug, or swimming? She’s got Olympic-level enthusiasm.
Training? She’s smarter than your average reality show contestant and learns new things faster than you can Google “how to tire out a herding dog.” She knows her basic obedience! Olive is crate trained (it’s her safe space) and house-trained. She’s also been exposed to dock diving and LOVES it!
But let’s talk personality: Olive is playful and happy, but her love language is quality time. She doesn’t need to be in your lap every second—just near you, close enough to know she’s your number one.
Now, a couple of ground rules from Olive herself:
Men? Sorry, fellas, this girl prefers ladies. Quality girl time! Any men in Olive’s life will need to be gentle, kind, and have the patience of Job.
Kids? Herding small humans is apparently “not acceptable,” so better to keep her world adult-only.
Other pets? Also a no-go. Olive wants to be your one and only diva—and honestly, she deserves it!
Apartment life? Nope. She’s a “room to roam” kind of gal.
What Olive does want is an active home—someone who understands that Aussies are wired for fun, structure, and the occasional zoomie or splash. A fenced yard would be her dream playground, but what she really needs is someone willing to give her love, patience, and the occasional car ride with the windows down.
