Story
**About Bunny:**
Bunny is an international rescue all the way from South Korean. While "international adoption" might sound like a major undertaking, we have years of experience streamlining this process to make it as smooth as possible. We’ll be right by your side to explain every step!
The Journey Home
Once your application is approved, the final step of Bunny’a journey begins. Adopters are responsible for picking her up directly from a major international airport. Common arrival hubs include:
West Coast: SFO, SEA, LAX.
East Coast & Central: JFK, IAH
Personality
Bunny is a sweet, curious girl who can be a little timid at first. Although she’s naturally cautious, her love for treats often gives her the courage to approach people! She’s curious about her surroundings and enjoys being petted once she feels comfortable.
Bunny gets along very well with other dogs, especially those larger than herself. She’s particularly attached to Olio, a 60 lb male dog in her foster home, and often looks to him for comfort and reassurance.
Good with Children?
Bunny hasn’t had much direct experience with children, but her foster believes she would likely do fine with them. However, her interactions with children have not yet been fully tested.
Good with Cats?
Bunny currently lives with a cat in her foster home. She shows some curiosity toward the cat but hasn’t displayed any aggression. She also shows little interest in stray cats she encounters outdoors.
Car Rides
Bunny does well in the car! She can jump into the back seat on her own and usually lies down calmly during the ride. She’s also comfortable traveling in a crate.
Potty Training
Bunny prefers going potty outdoors, but she occasionally uses pee pads indoors. When she’s taken outside on a consistent schedule, she rarely needs to use the pads.
Separation Anxiety
Bunny hasn’t been left completely alone because she has always lived with other dogs in her foster home.
Her foster believes she may whine initially if left alone in an unfamiliar environment until she becomes comfortable. However, her ability to stay home alone has not yet been tested.
Food & Resource Guarding
Bunny absolutely loves treats! She’s very food-motivated and generally waits patiently for her turn.
She tends to eat her treats very quickly and sometimes keeps an eye on the other dogs’ treats, hoping to sneak an extra bite!
No specific resource-guarding behavior has been reported, although supervision around food is recommended.
Leash Walking
Bunny is good on leash.
She may pull a little at the beginning of a walk, but once she’s had her first potty break, she usually settles down and walks more calmly.
She loves taking her time to sniff and explore her surroundings. Sometimes she gets a little stubborn when she wants to keep sniffing, but her foster redirects her with a firm “No” and gentle leash guidance.
She generally doesn’t show much interest in other dogs she encounters during walks.

Current Foster Home
Bunny has been living with her foster family for approximately 8 months.
Her current foster environment includes:
8 other dogs
1 or more cats
No children
No adult men living in the home
She has gained plenty of experience living and socializing with other dogs, particularly in a multi-dog household.
What Kind of Home Would Be Best for Bunny?
Bunny would likely thrive in a patient, loving home where she can build confidence at her own pace.
Since she enjoys the company of other dogs and often relies on them for reassurance, a home with a friendly, confident resident dog, especially a larger one, could be a wonderful match for her. But she will do well as the only dog in the house as well.
Although Bunny may need some time to adjust to a completely new environment, she’s a curious, affectionate girl who enjoys gentle attention and loves her treats.
With patience, consistency, and lots of love, Bunny has great potential to become a wonderful companion!
