Story
Meet Truffles -“The Ears Have It!” Few critters in the animal kingdom have ears that can move separately, up/down, folded, or crisscrossed. The magnificent Truffles is one of the few! This gorgeous, friendly, athletic gal is endowed with huge stick up bat signal ears. When not receiving transmissions, one or both of her giant receivers crisscross atop her head. She loves long walks on her leash, zooming, playing with balls & stuffies, tug-of-war and of course, cuddling. Truffles was born with a genetic condition called mega esophagus that requires a bit of extra time & special steps at meals. She has a custom chair that allows her to eat in an upright position. Truffles eagerly gets into her chair as she is quite food motivated. She sits in her chair for 15 -20 minutes after eating. She cannot have treats. And that is it! You might notice her throat moving like a bullfrog when she is sleeping, due to the enlarged esophagus, but that is nothing to worry about. She is intelligent, active, affectionate, and eager to please. She is ideal for an active family or individual. More Attributes! Leash trained Loves kids, but likely too boisterous for little ones Needs extra care at meal time Local adoption fee is$200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Linette. I came from a shelter where I was on the euthanasia list, but I got a second chance when I was transferred here. I’m really grateful to be safe now, and I’m ready to find a home of my own. I’m a Basenji mix and, if I may say so, a very sweet girl. I’ve really come out of my shell and now greet people with lots of tail wags right away! I get along well with other dogs and have done great with everyone I’ve met. I’m a spunky, playful girl who loves attention and interaction. I can get a little bouncy when I’m excited—I may jump and do some playful “love nips,” which is just my way of having fun and showing affection. Because of this, I’d do best with older, considerate kids who understand dog behavior and can help me keep learning good manners. I still have a gentle side and would do well in many different homes. I just need someone kind who will continue to guide me and give me the love I’ve been waiting for. I’m spayed, up to date on all my vaccines, 4dx test negative, protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, and microchipped—so I’m all ready to head home whenever you are. My adoption fee is $400. If you think we might be a good match, you can apply for me at www.adoggie4you.org . I’m currently in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast. If I need a ride, there’s an additional $225 transport fee. (I’m not able to travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state rules.)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 12, 2026, 6:46 pm

Story
Meet Titus — the sweetest little shadow you could ask for! This boy is the definition of a velcro puppy. Wherever you are, that’s exactly where Titus wants to be. Doing chores? He’s your helper. Watching TV on the couch? He’s curled up beside you showering you with kisses. Bathroom trip? Yep… he’ll probably volunteer as your emotional support puppy there too. Titus is a happy, high-energy boy that loves zoomies and gets so excited he’ll bounce around on his back legs like a tiny kangaroo. He’s playful, goofy, and full of personality. Crinkly toys are a favorite, and chewing on his Benebone is serious business. He’s great with other dogs and kids and would love a family ready for adventures, playtime, and lots of cuddles. Titus is currently working on potty training and does really well as long as his people go outside with him — he just likes having his buddy nearby. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend that will love you with his whole heart, Titus is your boy. Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
