Story
**He is currently in Seattle** Mukgoo is about 5 years old. He was found near an army base in Korea and immigrated to America around the age of 1 on President’s Day of 2020. He is an incredibly smart and lovable dog. He is kind and loves people (loves dogs and people). He will eat almost anything (except veggies). He can be a jumper when he gets very excited. He prefers households with another dog and a big yard to run around in but it’s not a non-negotiable. He has always adjusted well to whatever the circumstance. Overall, he’s a good dog and he’s got a lot of love to give. I’m having to give him up due to being unable to raise him in my current life stage. In no way, this is due to any bad behaviors or anything. He’s a really kind-hearted and sweet dog. Likes - He loves playing fetch (quickest way to his heart), rolling in the grass, puppycinos, ice cream, snow, people, dogs - Historically has liked lamb, fish skin, salmon, bully sticks, dental sticks, sweet potato, etc. In general, he loves to eat~ - Very social and prefers to greet other dogs and people, including dog parks, doggy day cares Dislikes - He dislikes bath but who does - He doesn’t like being alone but can manage a few hours if needed - No longer is a fan of veggies - Fireworks and big noises Things to Watch out for - Throwing up: If you let him freely eat grass, he’ll throw up. When he feels stressed, he can react by throwing up. - He can be independent when he is fixated on things. Just be patient with him and he will come back to focus on you. He is a people pleaser. - He rarely barks. He may bark when other dogs bark but even that is rare. He is more of a whiner. If he needs to let you know something, he will whine. - Not a counter surfer but can be if you let him Commands He knows his basic commands (sit, down, hand, etc.) and is open to learning new ones as well. Potty He is used to peeing and pooing outside. Once you create a regular spot and time for him, it’s clockwork. Otherwise, just be aware when he whines that it may be time to go. - At a high level, he knows “go potty” and “go poo” as a sign to go to the bathroom - He will rarely go pee or poo inside the home. Once in a million tries, a thing like that can happen during the night but he’s really sorry when he does. Leash He has never been fully off-leash, only in areas that condone it (home, backyard, dog park, etc.). He is not one to go off-leash and run away. He’ll run around and try to have you play with him. Keep him on a short leash if you need to focus on walking as he can veer away due to his interest in sniffing. Once on a short leash, he’ll understand and walk along. However, give him time to sniff as he is very curious with smells. Sleep He can sleep together or on his own if you’re in a different room or floor. He is also loves to cuddle up as well. When there’s fireworks, it’s recommended you sleep where he sees you because he’s afraid of the loud sounds. Food He is on one meal a day. If you give him two meals a day, he may not eat the first meal. Snacks though he loves. He knows how to sit and wait for food. He is currently on Costco’s salmon and sweet potato meal.

Story
Meet White🧡 White spent time in Juksan dog meat farm, where he witnessed his fellow dogs being slaughtered right before his eyes. He lived in constant fear, but when Adogs shut down the farm, he was finally given a second chance at life. • With People: Is a bit shy at first, but with time, begins to follow people around curiously. Will accept treats from hands and sniff familiar people. Is not yet fully comfortable with being touched and tends to be nervous while hands are approaching. Accepts petting nicely when it starts. • With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs and does not cause issues. Is not particularly interested in approaching new dogs first. Seems to prefer smaller-sized dogs and plays well with familiar companions. • Separation Anxiety: Since he is currently living in a group setting at the center, it is unclear how he will react to being alone in a home environment. • Potty Training: Is accustomed to outdoor potty habits at the cenlter. • Walking & Leash Training: Enjoys going for walks. Has much curiosity and tends to be persistent and show his feelings when he want to go in a certain direction. Rarely pullsbonbthe leash. • Car Rides: Experiences mild motion sickness, often drooling slightly and shifting around during travel.

Meet Imp! She is lovely girl rescued by our team from High-kill shelter in Korea. She gave birth to his babies in the shelter. Behaviours from the previous foster: She is so gentle that she doesn’t bark at all and doensn’t have any aggressive behaviours. We haven’t found any separation anxieties so far, She seems to be beyond happy when the owners come back home though. ✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 Meet Hyunmi💕 (It means brown rice in Korean) 💙 Update Account: @adogs_hyunme 1⃣ Health Status • Neutered: Yes • Others:  • Microchipped  • Heartworm negative 2⃣ Rescue Story Hyunmi was rescued from the Gimje shelter where he had been staying with his sibling #ADogsGiri. Since they were still very young and the shelter environment posed a high risk of infectious disease, they were both rescued before spending their entire puppyhood there. 3⃣ Personality & Behavior • With People: Hyunmi likes people but is a bit shy around strangers at first. He may bark when approached, but calms down when corrected. With familiar people, he loves to follow them around and cuddle—he wags his tail, relaxes in their lap, and even shows his belly for pets! • With Dogs: He’s timid around unfamiliar dogs, but he plays joyfully and wrestles with familiar ones, especially his current foster sibling. He’s been showing increasing dependence on his foster sibling, so it’s being closely monitored. • With Cats: Shows little to no interest, even when encountering them directly. • Separation Anxiety: He does well alone and also enjoys playing when accompanied by other dogs. If left with an unfamiliar person, he may be shy but warms up with treats and relaxes. • Potty Training: Mostly prefers outdoor potty. When indoors, he tends to use the bathroom area over pee pads. • Grooming & Handling: He tries to run away before baths but stays still once it begins. He vocalizes during nail trimming to express discomfort, but it’s manageable. • Walking & Leash Training: He avoids being leashed at first, but once the leash is on, he walks just fine. If someone other than his foster tries to leash him, he gets scared. When startled by cars or motorcycles during walks, he freezes and needs to be carried to a calmer area before resuming. • Car Rides: Has done well on short trips and usually rests calmly. 4⃣ Special Notes • Knows “Sit,” “Lie down,” “Wait,” and “Turn”! • He’s sensitive and can yelp when startled or when rough play gets overwhelming. Loud, sudden sounds tend to scare him. • He’s more comfortable eating when others aren’t around—currently fed separately to help him feel secure.

Story
MEET LEO! What a great name for a dog, especially with the world's new Pope! Our Leo is a fun-loving and gentle 3-year-old Basenji-Chihuahua mix in need of a forever home. He's currently in a foster home in Edmonds! He weighs about 20-25 lbs. Leo was originally rescued from a crowded California shelter, and quickly adjusted to a better life! He loves to go for walks and he loves to eat, so will get excited at dinnertime! Leo also has a prey drive, so would probably do best in a home without cats. And he's actually afraid of kids, so would do best in an adult-only home. Please email for an application.

These pups are in Bellevue, Washington too!

Story
story: Thank you for interested in adopting Buddy. Please know that Buddy is an international rescue. When your application is approved, you will need to pick him up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, ONT, IAH, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we've done the process many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Buddy is not high in energy level and likes to take a slow walk, taking time to observe and sniff other things. When he was a puppy, he was small and weak and was bullied by his siblings. He gets nervous towards other dogs. He is not comfortable when the other dog tries to dominate and when the other dog has a young puppy energy so much that it can annoy others. However, once he becomes friendly with other dog, he gets along very well. He stayed in the shelter for a long time so he lacks socialization but he is gentle and careful once he decides to be a friend with the people and the dogs. Now, he is under socialization training. He has not met children yet but is generally calm and good with people. The foster believes buddy is calm and friendly with anyone and so can be with children. Buddy is nervous but stays calm in the crate. He behaves well when he is alone in home. He is under leash training. If he gets scared he just stops and refuses to move. When he gets scared during walks, he leans on the people next to him and depends on the person for protection. With something he has not eaten before, he doesn’t eat it right away. He rubs it on his body first. After he tries it one or two times, he doesn’t do it anymore. Lacking various experiences, he gets scared easily but is also good at overcoming them. If you’re interested in adopting Buddy, feel free to contact us for more info! Thank you.

Story
Meet Gooreum ☁️ Gooreum was abandoned at a garbage dump in Gimje. Next to her, her friends had starved to death and were rotting. Adogs quickly rescued her, as it was not a safe place for her to remain. * With People: Approaches strangers cautiously by sniffing them. Is very affectionate with familiar people, jumping to greet them, and even licking them. Follows people and loves to be petted. * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. Lies down rather than playing with other dogs. Displays sometimes discomfort to dogs who she does not like. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as she currently resides in a group at our center. * Potty Training: Not confirmed, though she goes potty outside at our center. * Hygiene: Tolerates nail trimming when held in a hugging position. Is gentle enough to accept brushing nicely. * Walks: Loves going for walks! Tends to pull on the leash due to her high level of excitement. Needs some time for cooling down before and after walks. Care is needed to stop her from running after birds. ❗Health Condition❗ * Microchipped, with a heartworm reexamination scheduled for April 2025.

Story
Meet Pogun🥰 Pogeun had stayed at the Gimje shelter for a long time. He has a mild and friendly nature with other dogs. Tragically, a severe disc injury led to emergency surgery for hind limb paralysis. He bravely underwent surgery and completed physical rehabilitation. * With People: Is initially shy but becomes incredibly affectionate if you give him enough time to greet. Loves people and enjoys being petted. * With Dogs: Gets along well with all his canine friends. If other dogs disturb him while he’s resting, he may growl as a warning, but does not bite at all. * With Cats: Is highly excited when encountering cats, so careful management is required. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he resides communally at our center. * Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty. Occasionally makes mistakes indoors, especially when becoming excited and having his hind legs tense up, regardless of his will. * Hygiene: Handles all aspects of grooming well, including baths, brushing, nail trimming, teeth cleaning, and ear cleaning. Tolerates even hair dryer well enough to sleep through it without getting scared. * Walks: Loves and does well walks but occasionally gets highly excited. Can walk or even run without support on his legs. * Car Sickness: Generally rides well in a car, though he may drool slightly. 💌Special Note💌 * Is frightened by objects like sticks and may react skittishly. ❗Health Condition❗ * Neutered. * Microchipped and completed rehabilitation forhind limb paralysis caused by disc herniation. * Rehabilitation is no longer needed but careful monitoring is necessary.
