Story
Dixie is the most loving, funny baby you’d ever meet. She has brought me so much happiness in the time I’ve had her. I got her for my mom from the pound, but due to my mom getting sick to where she can’t take care of dixie I had to take her but I had unfortunate living circumstances that is forcing me to rehome her. Dixie is about 4 years old and loves to play with ropes, she loves hugs and tuna sandwiches. She would love anyone who has food and love to give her.

These pups are in Decatur, Georgia too!

Story
Hello, Kaspar was bought from Pendergrass flea market in Jefferson Georgia as a puppy. He was my first dog. Kaspar had his wild puppy years in which he would play around all day, but he has settled down in his elderly age. In 2020 he started developing mucus with a rough-sounding cough and was taken to the vet. He had several tests done but we were unable to find anything wrong with him. The vet concluded that these symptoms are a sign of old age and that he is just simply a snotty boy now. He has a cuddly personality and prefers to be around people at all times. He is also great with small children and other dogs. He is gentle and most of the time he ignores younger children. Over the last few years, I have had less and less time to hang out with him. I would like Kaspar to spend the remainder of his life with an owner that has time to him all the cuddles and doesn't mind him staring at them the whole day. I spend around $300/ year on Kaspar. His medical expenses are not a lot

Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Sweet little Sadie is sweet, low-key little nugget that seeks a soft-hearted human who loves frosty-faces and celebrating 'tongue-out Tuesday' (hehe). She'd enjoy the companionship of people and/or a frosty-faced fur sibling to sunbathe with.  Sadie is doesn't demand much, just to be cared for and loved in her elder years. She is currently living in the senior 'wing' of one of our foster homes, along with four other oldies. She deserves to be supremely spoiled in her last stretch and we hope for a kind hearted soul to offer that to her.  If you can provide a loving last few years to her, she would be ever-grateful.  Age: ~15 yrs Weight: 9 lbs Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines/tests/prevention Training: Crate and potty-pad trained To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Looking for a quiet home.Bella is very affectionate! She's fine with other dogs and will have spurt of playing/zooms with one of my dogs, but hoomans are her preference.  She would prefer an older, quiet home with limited traffic. Bella is a happy, easy girl...she loves to wake you up with jumps and dancing on her back legs and lots of kisses. Then a quick breakfast (she eats very quickly) and will try and help herself to any of the other food bowls once she finishes her food. She's learning there is plenty to go around and there's no need to eat others food while they are still trying to eat.   If something hits the floor, she'll put it in her mouth. Outside is no exception sticks, leaves and other yard stuff are all food opportunities. She will potty and explore the yard after meals then back to your side to do whatever her hooman is doing. Bella will use potty pads and will go to the door or a potty pad when she needs to potty. She's not much on toys, so no need to spend money on them, she'd rather have a bone or something to eat! Bella rides fine in the car, but can get car sick. She barks if there is a visitor or something interesting to see, but is not an excessive barker. If you are a home body and want a BEST friend and constant companion, Bella is your girl. When she looks at you with her sparkling brown eyes, well the heart melt begins. Age: 1-2 yrs Weight: 7-8 lbs Temperament: Gets along with dogs and adults; has not yet met kids or cats  Training: Housetrained  Vetting: Spay/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review.
