Molly is an adorable 1.5 yr old, 15lb TFT or Rat Terrier mix ( she was 11 lbs when we first got her but she is a big fan of food!) She was surrendered to a local shelter with other dogs. She was terrified in the shelter environment, so we didn’t hesitate to pull her. Molly is a sweet goofy girl, a definite lap dog and does expect full furniture privileges. She LOVES to play with other similar sized energetic dogs. She is looking for a home with another small dog and will not be placed as an only dog! Older dogs may not appreciate her enthusiasm. She is fine with cats and even tries to get them to play. Once she gets to know you, she is the biggest sweetheart, but she is SUPER timid with new people. She needs someone who can give her the time she needs to get used to new people, it helps that she is food motivated! We are seeking a home with no kids. Molly is seeking a home with a SECURELY fenced yard . She is learning how to walk on a leash but will alligator roll to try and get out of going for walk. Molly is a lover; she wants to snuggle and give kisses. If you do not like dog kisses, then Molly is not the dog for you! Molly is VERY very smart and is a possible candidate for agility. She thrives on structure and routine and would prefer a calm environment with no small children, as she's easily startled by surprises. Mouse is a quick learner, fully housebroken, and feels safest in her crate, which she uses as her personal safe space. She also understands "place" and responds well to boundaries. Mouse is very comfortable around other dogs, though she's still learning boundaries and can be a little pushy with them at times with zero concept of personal space (with dogs only - not humans… yet). She responds well to fair corrections from other dogs and needs a patient dog in her new home. Mouse needs an understanding adopter who will give her space and allow her to build trust at her own pace; she's not a lap dog (yet!) and prefers a gentle, slow introduction to new people and situations.

Joey is a sweet boy that loves being with his owner and having his head petted. He loves snuggling on the couch and laying under blankets because he gets cold easily. He does not like being left alone and can be barky as a result. For this reason, he is not ideal in an apartment or condo. He is good with smaller dogs once he acclimates, but is fearful of larger dogs. He can be nervous and requires a calm owner and predictable routines. I adopted Joey when he was six and have been his owner for five years. Even though he is 11 years old, he has a lot of energy, likes to play fetch with small plushies, and likes his daily walks. I recently had to return to working from my office this has not been beneficial to him as I am away for long hours. I feel he would be better served in a home with people around for most of the day.
