Lulu is a beautiful, petite 19lb terrier mix who has already survived more than most dogs ever will. She was found in an abandoned house caring for her four newborn puppies, doing everything she could to keep them safe until help arrived. We were contacted about this little family, and as soon as we met her, we knew she deserved a new start. You can read her full story on our Facebook, Page "Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue".
Now that her puppies have been weaned, it finally her turn to be loved.
Lulu is currently in a foster home with kids, dogs and even cats - and she's an absolute sweetheart with everyone. She's gentle, friendly, grateful and the perfect medium small size for almost any home. At just one year old, she's still young, playful and ready for a lifetime of happiness.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.
The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.
NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.
If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
