Meet Thing One and Thing Two, two adorable little male Chihuahuas about 5 months old and weigh less than 5lbs. and have a heartwarming story of resilience. These two cuties were found abandoned on the side of the road in the deep south of Alabama, but their luck has turned around, and they’re now safe in a loving foster home.
Thing One and Thing Two are not just lucky—they're incredibly friendly! They’re thriving in their foster home, where they get along beautifully with children, dogs, and even cats. Their playful, loving personalities shine through, and they’ve quickly become favorites with everyone they meet.
While these two are inseparable buddies who would love to be adopted together, they’re also perfectly fine finding separate forever homes. What matters most is that they end up with loving families who will cherish them as they deserve.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.
The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.
NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.
If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21
