Meet Binnie🤍 💙 Binnie’s Updates Account: @biniiii_eo 1. Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, fully recovered from heartworm (negative upon retest) * Has a severe underbite/malocclusion, and his upper and lower left canines were broken due to being interlocked. The upper canine has been extracted during dental scaling. 2. Rescue Story * Binnie had been at the Gimje City Shelter for a long time without being rescued due to limited space at the Adogs center. One day, his weight suddenly dropped, raising health concerns. Adogs stepped in just in time to rescue him. 3. Basic Information * With People: Is wary of strangers and is on guard with guests that visit the home. Is especially wary of men. Doesn’t show interest towards people he meets on walks, but becomes wary if they approach him. Shows affectionate charm towards familiar people and has an energetic side. Sticks right by people he likes. * With Dogs: Is gentle and coexists peacefully with other dogs. Doesn’t show much interest in other dogs and doesn’t approach them first to greet but is polite enough to respond to greetings of other dogs on walks. * With Cats: Doesn’t show much interest in cats but may bark if they approach him suddenly. * Separation Anxiety: Does very well when left alone at home! * Potty Training: Prefers going outdoors, but does well indoors too. No marking habits! * Grooming & Hygiene: Handles baths, brushing, blow-drying, and tooth brushing like a pro! Even at daycare, stays patient during bath time. Trimming nails is easy once a bond of trust is built. Has a habit of biting his nails, so he's only getting his nails grinded rather than cut for now. * Walks: When excited, he tries to run ahead. But most of the time, he matches his pace with his handler and doesn’t pull on the leash. Keeps his attention on his handler and walks either beside or behind them. After coming home from a walk, he goes to the bathroom and sticks out his paws to get them cleaned. * Car Sickness: Rests well in a car without motion sickness. * Biting: Occasionally shows defensive nipping toward strangers due to wariness, but this has improved significantly. Has some resource guarding and can be a bit wary of men, so caution and patience are needed. * Barking: Rarely barks at home except briefly when his meals are being prepared. May occasionally bark when a person or a cat approaches him suddenly. * Likes: Likes walking, playing with a squeaky ball and doing nosework with treats. Wiggles happily when his butt is petted. Is extremely affectionate and deeply attached to those he recognizes as his guardians. * Dislikes: Is uncomfortable with sudden touch. Thanks to consistent desensitization training, he has improved a lot. Ample time and training are necessary before appropriate trust building. Is afraid of loud noises, such as top-loading washing machines, vacuum cleaners, or motorcycles. Is wary of strangers coming into the house. * Tricks: Has excellent recall (comes when called). Has mastered several commands like 'sit,' 'lie down,' 'paw,' 'other paw,' 'nose,' 'high-five,' 'kiss,' and 'house.' * Personality: Is a true angel—a "Giving Tree" in dog form! Once he trusts you, he gives his whole heart. Even when faced with things he dislikes, he patiently endures them for his person, expressing his deep affection with his pure, clear eyes.

Story
Maxi and Myra are a bonded mother–daughter pair of purebred Toy Fox Terriers from championship lines. Maxi joined our family at just 8 weeks old, when my children were in middle school. Later, her breeder bred her, and that litter had only one surviving puppy, Myra. We kept Myra so Maxi would have company and so the kids could experience raising a puppy together. Myra is now 6, Maxi is 8, and both are under 9 pounds, healthy, and fully up to date on vaccinations. My children are grown and off to college, and with my work keeping me in Seattle, I’m not able to give these two the daily attention and engagement they deserve. They currently enjoy a fenced yard and a cozy dog house, but they thrive most when they have people, especially children, to play with and bond with. Maxi is calm, affectionate, and loyal. Myra is playful, energetic, and wonderful with kids. I’m looking for a loving home that will keep them together and give them the companionship and family life they truly enjoy.

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. To see more pictures and some videos of this dog, please visit our Facebook page and look under “photos” and then “albums”. 9-year-old female Chiweenie, about 15 pounds. Cherokee is a sweet yet shy girl. She gets very attached to her person and likes to follow around, sleep and cuddle with them. She has a very Doxie personality; smart, opinionated, LOVES to eat and sometimes be vocal. She is long and low, with the typical Doxie body, so all the normal Doxie long back protection steps should be taken. Not too fat, ramps, steps and such to prevent her from jumping down from high places. She grows crazy long toenails too, so be prepared to clip and snip regularly! She lets you know when she has to go outside. If you like a dog that likes to get dressed up, she's your gal! Bring on the dresses and sweaters! She does not necessarily need a fenced yard, but would love to go for walks and probably no kids under 10. She does need a bit more work on not pulling on the leash. Story
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. 2-year-old male Chihuahua mix, about 20 pounds. Jimbo was found stray in the city of Tieton and taken in by the Public Works department. They do not have animal control, so they reached out to us for help. Jimbo is shy but quite friendly, playful and interactive when he gets to know you. He is more of a people dog than a dog's dog and will get very attached to "his" person very quickly. That sometimes manifests itself as resource guarding which makes it difficult for him to share. He would do best in an adult only home, as an only dog or with a very dog pack savvy human with indifferent dog pack members. Because he likes to run, a fenced yard would be ideal! Story
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. 1.5 year old Chiweenie, about 8 pounds. 6 dogs were abandoned in a cemetery and only 4 were found alive. Tombey, Lillith, Gravis and Wednesday luckily found their way to us in December. Wednesday's foster parents have worked diligently to get her ready for adoption as she was the most fearful of the group. Wednesday is a very sweet but timid girl. When she feels comfortable with her human, her personality really shines. She is a high energy girl who loves to play, whether it is with her human friends or her dog friends. She is a fashionista with a love of clothes and shoes and when you’re not watching she likes to collect them from throughout the house and bring them to you. She loves to be with her person and is an amazing snuggler. Wednesday is still getting comfortable with walking in crowded areas but does well on a leash otherwise. She will require a patient and consistent human to help her become all that she can be! She would do best in a house with a fenced yard. She does great with older kids and really needs a playful and confident pooch in the home. Such a sweet girl.
