Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and fully recovered from heartworm. 2.) Rescue Story * Binnie had been at the Gimje City Shelter for a long time without being rescued due to limited space at the Adogs center. One day, his weight suddenly dropped, raising health concerns. Adogs stepped in just in time to rescue him. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is shy a bit with new people. As a result of consistent training, he has become much less wary, even taking treats and sniffing people he has never seen before. Now, he knows how to be affectionate not only with his foster family but also with visitors who come to the house. * With Dogs: Coexists peacefully with other dogs and doesn’t show much interest first. Doesn’t approach them to greet but is polite enough to respond to greetings of other dogs. Showed some defensive nipping to sudden approaches in the past but is improving as he meets more dogs. * With Cats: Waits gently when seeing cats. * Separation Anxiety: Mostly rests napping or sometimes plays with balls when alone. Recently, stayed for three days at a boarding facility, where he was anxious and had trouble adjusting for the first six hours. After that, he settled in well. When left alone with strangers, he either approaches them and barks or sniffs them. * Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty but uses pee pads indoors without any issue. * Hygiene: Handles bathing, brushing, drying, and tooth brushing like a pro. * Walks: Loves walks and matches his pace to yours! Doesn't get startled by the sound of motorcycles or cars and strolls along calmly while checking his surroundings. * Car Sickness: No motion sickness; relaxes well during car rides. * Barks and may show defensive nibbling when strangers visit home or suddenly reach out their hands to him during walks. Dislikes to be intuded in his territory and sometimes nips in such situation. Is getting constant training to fix it. * May bark defensively if someone suddenly runs toward him during walks. * Likes playing with a squeaky ball and doing nosework with treats. Wiggles happily when his butt is petted. * Does not like to be touched on belly, so it is recommended to approach carefully and to touch it as if petting softly. Is scared of staircases in buildings and is currently being trained slowly with treats. For now, he’s still being carried when he has to climb the steps. * Has mastered several commands like 'sit,' 'lie down,' 'paw,' 'another paw,' 'nose,' 'high-five,' 'kiss,' and 'house.'

Story
We got Rin when she was 1yr old from Ginger’s Pet Rescue. Over the years we have acquired 3 cats all of whom Rin respects with indifference. She is almost cat-like in behavior because you will find her always snuggling next to you in a tight little ball. Her favorite thing is to just follow you around to every room you are in and just chill next to you. She visits our dog-friendly office and gets along with a variety of other dogs. We have realized over the years that we live too active a social life to keep leaving our dog in a crate so frequently. She is house broken and can hold it for 8hrs with no issue. We only crate her because if we leave her uncrated in the house she has a chance to pee near the door due to separation anxiety. When people dogsit her and she is left uncrated when they leave she doesn’t pee, so isn’t an age or bladder issue.

Meet Toto! He is a little shy and a sweet boy who wants to be loved :) Behaviours from the foster mom : Toto loves doggie friends, but he is a bit shy. He wags his tail cheerfully and waits for other dogs to come to him first. Toto hasn't met any cat friends yet, so we don't know how he would react to them. Toto loves kids and is very comfortable around them. He seems to be more comfortable with female adults than with males. He gets scared by sudden, big movements or loud noises, so please give him some time to adjust to a new environment, especially at the beginning. :) He is good at bathing and brushing, but he is afraid of the dryer, so his foster mom is trying to help him feel more comfortable with it. He has great manners on his walks, though he sometimes gets scared by loud noises or shadows, so please make sure he is on a leash and be cautious during walks. He only does his business outside. He is not a big barker, but he sometimes barks when he hears noises from outside. He hasn't shown any signs of separation anxiety, and he doesn’t feel carsick during drives. He wasn't specifically kennel trained, but he goes into his kennel when he is told to. He is a smart boy. ;) He hasn't shown any aggressive behavior, but he sometimes nibbles when he gets scared or startled, so please don’t scare him suddenly. Toto is a sweet boy who will shine with some time in a new family. Would you be this sweet boy's loving family? :D Allergy/health issues: Toto's foster mom said that he might have an allergy to salmon. Toto had a heartworm issue when he was rescued, but he is all cured now, and he's been given heartworm and flea/tick prevention medication every month since then.
