Meet Binnie🤍 💙 Binnie’s Update Account: @imbo_family_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and fully recovered from heartworm. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Binnie had been at the Gimje City Shelter for a long time without being rescued due to limited space at the Adogs center. One day, his weight suddenly dropped, raising health concerns. Adogs stepped in just in time to rescue him. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is shy a bit with new people. As a result of consistent training, he has become much less wary, even taking treats and sniffing people he has never seen before. Now, knows how to act charm not only to his foster family but also to visitors who come to the house. * With Dogs: Coexists peacefully with other dogs and doesn’t show much interest first. Doesn’t approach them first to greet but is polite enough to respond to greetings of other dogs on walks. Showed some defensive nipping to sudden approaches in the past but has improved a lot after meeting more dogs. * With Cats: Waits gently when seeing cats. * Separation Anxiety: Does very well when left alone at home and rests! When left alone with strangers, he either approaches them and barks at or sniffs them. When with his foster parent’s mother and another stranger, he growls and is wary of the stranger if they approach the mother. Gets trained and corrected when his foster parent is with him. * Potty Training: Prefers outdoor potty but uses pee pads indoors without any issue. * Hygiene: Handles bathing, brushing, drying, and tooth brushing like a pro. * Walks: Loves walks and matches his pace to yours! Doesn’t get surprised by motorcycles or the sounds of cars. Looks around and is relaxed on walks. * Car Sickness: Rests well in a car without motion sickness. * Biting: Barks and may show defensive biting when strangers who visit the home or strangers on walks suddenly reach out their hands to him. Doesn’t like his territory being intruded upon and sometimes nips in such situations. Is getting constant training to fix it. * Barking: If a person runs in Binnie’s direction from afar, he sometimes barks defensively. * Likes: Likes playing with a squeaky ball and doing nosework with treats. Wiggles happily when his butt is petted. * Dislikes: Is sensitive around his belly, so it is recommended to pet the area softly. Is scared of staircases in buildings and is currently being trained slowly with treats. For now, is still being carried when he has to climb the steps. * Tricks: Has mastered several commands like 'sit,' 'lie down,' 'paw,' 'another paw,' 'nose,' 'high-five,' 'kiss,' and 'house.'

Crate trained: Yes (used primarily for air travel) When alone: Kiara currently lives in an open shelter setting and naturally seeks out her own quiet space when she wants to rest or decompress. When transitioning into a home, it’s recommended she not be left alone for more than 4–6 hours at first to help her feel safe and secure. Sleeping arrangements: She sleeps in a designated area alongside other dogs where she feels comfortable and at ease. While she is not currently in a home environment, she is expected to adjust quickly. Temperament Kiara truly stands out for her gentle, calm, and mature demeanor. She’s the kind of dog who quietly captures your heart the moment you meet her. Affectionate and easy to be around, Kiara bonds quickly and genuinely enjoys companionship and cuddles. At the same time, she has a lovely independent side and is perfectly content finding a sunny spot to relax on her own. This beautiful balance makes her an ideal family dog or a wonderful companion for someone seeking a loyal, loving presence. Ideal Home Kiara will thrive with a family or a dedicated individual who values gentle companionship and regular daily activities. She’s looking for a calm, loving environment where she can continue to feel safe, secure, and cherished while sharing her affection freely. Rescue Story Kiara was surrendered by her family to a local rescue partner known for caring for multiple dogs. When her family decided they no longer wanted her, Kiara’s future became uncertain. Without hesitation, her rescuer stepped in to protect her so she would never experience neglect. As if she understood she was finally safe, Kiara adjusted beautifully over more than a year to her new life as part of a pack. Though resources were sometimes limited, she always had stability, balance, and care. Now, it’s Kiara’s turn to move forward and find her forever home—a place where she will be chosen every day, deeply loved, and cherished for the rest of her life.
