Story
Meet Bernadette – The Sweetest Toy Poodle You’ll Ever Meet!  This beautiful 9-pound Toy Poodle girl has been through a lot, but she’s ready to leave the past behind and start a new chapter with a family who will love her the way she deserves. At just 5 years old, Bernadette is on the tail end of recovering from a broken leg, which required 6 weeks in a cast. Despite everything she’s endured, she has blossomed into the sweetest, most spirited little girl—and she’s eager to find a home to call her own. Over the past few weeks, Bernadette has come so far. She’s become much more social and confident, loving to meet new people without the fear she once had. She’s learned to enjoy car rides, walks perfectly on a leash, and is so excited to explore the world around her. What really shines through though, is her gentle, loving nature. Bernadette is ready to give her heart to someone who will appreciate how sweet and devoted she truly is. She may be small in size, but Bernadette has a big heartand an even bigger desire to be loved. She’s going to make the best little lap dog—there’s nothing she’d love more than to cuddle up with her forever family. After everything she’s been through, finding her forever home would mean the world to her. She’s been through so much already and is looking for the perfect family to offer her the love, comfort, and security she deserves for the rest of her life. If you’re ready to open your heart to a dog who will give you her all, Bernadette is waiting. She is ready to become the loyal companion and loving lap dog you’ve been searching for. Please don’t wait—email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.comto make Bernadette a part of your family today! Story
Punkin and Peanut are brothers. They were born in July 2025. I want them to remain together. They are very loving. I think that they would be most suitable with a family with children. At this time they are inside dogs, but would make the transition quite easily. They are potty trained using reusable potty pads and a small blocked off area. They love their toys and do not, for example, bite the furniture. During the day, when I go to work, they are left in a bedroom with a doggy gate on the door. They love going in there each day when I go to work. I will provide their beds, toys, toy containers, plastic dry food containers, water bowls and food dishes, reusable potty pads, halter and leashes, and doggy gates. I am going to change jobs which will require travel so I would be unable to care for them shortly. They have had their rabies and bordatella shots. They have not been neutered. I love my babies and will be brokenhearted over losing them.

Story
Carmel Toy Poodle Female Phantom 18 months old 9.5 lbs Meet Carmel – A Shy Beauty with a Heart Ready to Bloom Carmel is a very shy, sweet girl who’s still learning to trust, but with patience, her gentle spirit truly shines. She’s been with her foster for three weeks and still gets nervous when approached, often running away. But once she feels safe, she blossoms into the most loving companion. She’s housebroken and does well on a leash for walks, although she occasionally gets startled by a strong scent and gives a little jump, always keeping things interesting! Carmel needs a fenced yard where she can safely explore and feel secure, especially while she continues building confidence. Carmel gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playtime, even though her senior foster siblings prefer naps over zoomies. She loves toys and will happily entertain herself when the others aren’t in the mood. She has also done well around children, barking when they visit, but never aggressive or trying to get too close. With patience, love, and a calm environment, Carmel will return your care tenfold. She’s a special girl just waiting for the right person to show her the world isn’t so scary. Please Note: Must have another dog at home! *A FENCED-IN yard is preferred!* **No children under 12!** If you are interested in adopting CARMEL please go to our website www.somersetcottagepoodlerescue.org to see our adoption process and download the adoption application CARMEL's adoption donation is $1195

Story
We are looking for a very special home for a very special little old girl. Dory was turned into the shelter as a stray. She is deaf and blind and wasn't spayed. Her teeth were rotten. She had a urinary tract infection. The shelter estimated she's about 16 years old. But her life turned around when she arrived at FLFO. We knew it was risky for her age but we had her spayed and all of her remaining teeth needed to be extracted. She is fully healed now and is so happy! She is able to eat pain-free and loves her food, whereas before it was a struggle getting her to eat. Dory does have incontinence and must wear a diaper. We use washable ones. She's a very sweet and lovable little angel, deserving of a home who will appreciate her for who she is. Do you have what it takes to unconditionally love Dory for the remainder of her life? She's healthy so could be around for a while! FLFO requires a home visit therefore adopters must be within 40 miles of Baldwin MD.

These pups are in Washington, District of Columbia too!

Story
This handsome Eskimo/Heeler mix boy is called Spock and he is a charming  2 year old that is a perfect size at just 45 pounds.  This special, young dog was found as a stray and the lady who found him adored his unique look and wonderful personality.  But sadly this loving rescue lady has had to admit that her health is just not stable enough to give him a long term life and home with her.  She is sacrificing this sweet boy to give him a chance at a forever home that will give him a great life for the next 10+ years.  Spock is very smart, alert, affectionate, loyal and fun dog to have around.  Due to the blend of breeds, he is called an Aussimo – a good mixture of both breeds.  He is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and is a true cuddle buddy. Spock is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, HW prevention, microchipped and a healthy boy.  He is good with children and gets along nicely  with other dogs.  This stunning boy is ready today for his forever home. Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm
