He’s an absolute love bug with people and great with all other dogs! Hubie is looking to join a family with at least one other adult dog in the home so he can continue learning everything he needs to know to grow into the amazing adult dog we know he is destined to be! Story
A little about Duke: he is truly a snuggle bug and a lover. Because he bonds so deeply, he does struggle with separation anxiety and truly needs a home where someone is around often to give him the snuggles and attention he craves. He thrives on being close to his people and would do best as an only pet, where he can soak up all the love. He has been the absolute best big brother to our 2-year-old daughter: gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loyal. While he needs a patient soul to help him feel secure when left alone, he is absolutely worth the extra effort. Duke is food-motivated and loves to learn; he just needs someone committed to giving him the stability he deserves

Story
Okay but listen… if you ordered “tiny diva with surround sound bark” off the internet, Luna would arrive in 2 to 3 business days. 📦🐶 Luna was found running as a stray in terrible condition 💔. A kindhearted angel scooped her up, got her vetted, medicated, and slowly reintroduced her to this wild concept called love. Unfortunately, keeping her forever was not in the cards. Enter: Castoff Critter status ✨🐾 Now Luna is safe, healthy, and ready for her next chapter. And let us tell you… this girl is the SWEETEST soul. Calm. Gentle. Snuggly. Professional couch potato in training. 🛋️💗 She’s about 35 pounds, technically “small dog” sized… but when she lets out one of her occasional big, loud hound barks, you will look around for a 90 pound dog. The comedy. The confidence. The commitment to the bit. 📣😂 She's somewhere in the vicinity of 2 years old. Luna would absolutely thrive in a loving home with plenty of snuggle time. She’s especially perfect for older folks or anyone wanting a laid back best friend who just wants to be near her people. Big heart. Big personality. Compact packaging. Who’s ready to give Luna the soft landing she’s been waiting for? 💛🏡🐾

Story
A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Meet Bonbon! This sweet 5-year-old, 20-pound Beagle was rescued from a devastating hoarding situation involving 80 other Beagles. Despite her difficult start, Bonbon is a gentle, low-energy girl with so much love to give. She can be a little timid at first and is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will help her continue building confidence and discovering how wonderful life can be. Bonbon absolutely adores snuggles and loves being held — she truly finds comfort in her people. On walks, she’s every bit the classic beagle, with her nose happily glued to the ground as she takes in all the scents around her. She is still working on her leash skills and would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where she can explore safely. Another friendly dog in the home would also be a huge plus, giving her companionship and helping her feel secure. With time, kindness, and love, Bonbon will blossom into a deeply devoted and affectionate companion. If you'd like to know more about Bonbon, please fill out an adoption survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog and our team will get in touch. Bonbon is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and her adoption fee is $510. You must be 21+ years old to adopt.

Story
A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Meet Bunny. Bunny is a beagle that is estimated to be 5 years old. We recently rescued several beagles from a local animal control. Furkids is in the process of vetting all of these dogs. What we know... these babies are all very SWEET. Because they came from a hoarding case, they have had minimal human exposure and are now learning what it's like to be a normal dog. These dogs will require a fenced yard, as they can't walk on a leash. Due to the breed and how much they like to howl, we are not recommending apartments due to noise concerns. If you are interested in learning more about this baby or the others we rescued, please apply to furkids.org.
