Location: Big Lake, MN Koda is a true hound! He loves to play, loves to explore and enjoys the company of other dogs. He is great on leash and always has a smile on his face when he greets you. He is a big snuggler as well! Koda has a permanent slight head tilt and a bump on his nose, from a suspected injury prior to coming to the rescue. He sleeps through the night in a kennel and takes lots of naps! He has been in rescue since 2025 and has been patiently waiting to find a home since. *Originated from a shelter in Arkansas. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Hey there, it's Slade here, and I'm on the lookout for my new best friends! That's right, I'm a super-duper friendly Treeing Walker Coonhound, and I've got my heart set on finding my forever family. Let me tell you, I'm one heck of a catch. I'm only 1.5 years old, so I've got my whole life ahead of me to bring endless fun and love to my new family. Plus, I've got the brains to go along with my good looks and playful personality. My breed is known for its exceptional tracking skills, so I might just be the next Sherlock Holmes if you need something found. Now, I may be a bit biased, but I think my best traits are my loyalty and affectionate nature. I'm always up for a good time, but I also know when it's time to snuggle up and show you how much I care. Weekly brush dates and regular nail trims are a must for me to stay dapper, but I promise it's worth it! I may have a high prey drive for things like cats and rabbits (it's in my nature), but with my friendly and social personality, I'm willing to give anything a go. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Dottie is a medium sized, 2yr old treeing walker hound mix. Dottie would be happiest if she got adopted by someone who is adventurous and active. She loves to be outside and run and sniff. She shows signs of being used for hunting in her past, as her treeing walker instincts are truly showing by baying by the trees in the yard. She'd love going for walks on trails or hiking. She'd be a great reason for you to get outside and stay active all year round.  She has the typical goofy, fun-loving hound attitude. Can be calm and relaxed and at other times lets out her hound voice! She is a dominant dog, and will show other dogs she is boss. As long as the other dog is more submissive she does just fine. She has been out in fence playing with pack of other foster dogs, again has done fine after she shows them she is the boss lady. Has been attentive and can be easily redirected. Comes when called, but at times her hound nose keeps her distracted. Dottie is a typical 2yr old dog, needing moderate to high levels of exercise. She was found as a stray and saved when skin-and-bones. She knows basic commands. She even gives big hugs! And she loves to get tummy scratches and show you all her dots!! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Rudy just arrived to MN... ON A PLANE!! He was such a good boy on the flight and seemed to love to be up in the air. Rudy was found running as a stray in Ohio and was brought into an animal control facility, where he was at risk of euthanasia.  We can tell he was fending for himself for a long time due to his extreme weight loss/body condition. We are guessing he is between 3 and 5yrs old. So far he has been such a sweet boy, loving attention from his foster mom.
