Story
Woof, woof- my name is Ginger & this is my best friend Marley! We like giving kisses to each other - it is our favorite way to show affection. We dislike trying new things- it can be so scary and intimidating. We want a King size bed for us to cuddle up on every evening. We need to be side by side - we rely on each other for support! I am full grown at ~53 lbs. and Marley is full grown at ~60 lbs.How did we get here? Transferred from another facility. *We are bonded so we get to go home together!*~Our adoption fee is $95.00.~

Story
Sadie is a gorgeous tree walker hound. She is in foster with dogs and does well. Shes also been to doggie daycare. Shes a bigger gal (working on losing a few pounds) at 65 lbs. She is about 4/5 years old and fully vetted and spayed Sadie likes her adult humans and a quiet home. She does best in a home without children - even though they tend to help her get snacks. Or older children who she sees more as small adults. Child energy is too much for her and makes her anxious and even a little jealous. She is a mix of wanting attention, pets and snuggles and then wanting her space to lie in the sun and doggie dream. She loves belly rubs and ear scratches she loves to sun bathe all day on the porch or the yard. She also loves walks and car rides. She is kennel/crate trained but is insanely smart so needs a crate with a second latch or shell lift her own door open and let herself out. She can open latches or doors that are handles too Sadie did a 2 week training with Kranenburg training. She has great recall, knows all basic commands and is very food motivated. She will counter surf like most hounds. She will sleep on the bed for most of the night or a bed nearby and then go out early morning. Like most hounds she will howl for sirens. She just wants to be close to her adult humans and when she wants attention she will tell you by pawing. She is a good girl who would love a quiet home to spend her life. A sunny spot, maybe a doggie friend. She doesnt have prey drive with squirrels so cats may be ok. We can cat test All our dogs/cats are vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, on preventions, and spayed/neutered if old enough. Story
Sweet beagle girl, Daisy, is a gentle soul looking for someone to spoil her with lazy walks and a world full of fun smells to keep that hound nose sniffing. She has a very affectionate and gentle personality and is good with all types of people and pups. Daisy walks well on a leash during leisurely walks, but also enjoys roaming around a fenced in yard. Her favorite thing to do when outside and off-leash is to roll around on her back in the grass, sunning her belly and wiggling her tail around. As with any good beagle, Daisy is very food motivated and enjoys mealtime immensely. Daisy enjoys naps during the day and has the most adorable little snores. She mostly sleeps through the night but may stir to go to the bathroom early in the morning if she doesn't get out before bedtime. She is potty trained to go outside, but may need to get used to a new place and schedule in the beginning. She is a middle aged dog, maybe between 6-8 years old so her delightful personality is here to stay. Her background is a bit of a mystery. She was found in the country, roaming around on her own. She was likely dumped after having many litters of puppies, or maybe because of the lipoma on her abdomen (a fatty non-cancerous lump). The vet said she is healthy, that the lump isn't causing her any pain, and that besides needing a good teeth cleaning, she would be ready for a loving home. Her foster family have taken care of her vaccinations and have started training with basic commands. Daisy would do well in a home with another calm and gentle pup, or as an only dog. She will adapt to any working situation, whether work from home or not. She has not barked or howled since being in her foster home so she would be fine in a house or apartment. Daisy's adorable face will melt your heart and she is ready to fall in love with her new humans. Daisy's adoption fee is $75. Please call (717) 725-5259 or email knkessler@gmail.com if interested in meeting little miss Daisy. ***This is a courtesy posting, this dog is not part of Hope Animal Rescue. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This is Penny! Penny is the SWEETEST girl. She is a 7-year-old hound mix who loves belly rubs (she will let you rub her belly for hours), playing with her toys, and going on walks. She is a professional burrower who can get herself under a blanket in 2 seconds flat, and she loves snuggling in her beds. I got Penny from a family member who could no longer take care of her. She was adopted from a shelter at around a year old and lived 6 years as an "only child." I cared for Penny for about 6 months but she did not do well with our other dog -- Penny needs to be in a home with no other dogs and no small children. She will do very well in a home where she gets lots of love and attention.
