Story
Diglett is a 2‑month‑old, 3‑lb Beagle mix with a cheerful, easygoing nature and a goofy charm that makes him instantly lovable!   Quick Facts: Name: Diglett Breed: Beagle mix Age: 2 months old Weight: 3 lbs. House-Trained: Yes – with consistent potty breaks! Crate-Trained: Working on it! Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Yes Good with Kids: Yes Energy Level: Medium (puppy energy) Fence Required: No Dog's Location: Mebane, NC   About Diglett’s Breed: Our best guess is that Diglett is a Beagle mixed breed. Beagle mixes are typically bright, curious, and full of cheerful puppy energy, blending the Beagle’s playful nature with the traits of whatever breed they’re mixed with. They’re known for being social, affectionate, and motivated — especially by food — which makes training fun and rewarding. Most Beagle mixes love exploring, playing with toys, and being part of family life, all while showing off their sweet, expressive personalities.   Their ideal home is one that offers structure, consistency, and plenty of interaction. Because they’re smart and energetic, Beagle mixes thrive with families who enjoy playtime, outdoor adventures, and steady training routines. They do well with respectful children, other dogs, and even cats, and they shine in homes that appreciate a curious little companion who loves to learn, explore, and be included in daily activities.   What to Love about Diglett: Diglett is the laid‑back brother of the Pokemon Puppy trio — happy to romp around the yard with siblings Misty and Pichu, chase toys, and join in puppy games, but just as content to plop down for a rest once the fun winds down! Diglett is very food‑motivated, which makes training both effective and adorable, and he’s already doing well with his puppy potty routine on a 4–5 hour schedule. He settles in his crate after a short cry and is learning quickly with gentle consistency.   Diglett is wonderfully social and enjoys meeting people of all ages, especially with thoughtful introductions. He gets along beautifully with dogs and cats in his foster home and would thrive with fur‑siblings — though he’s mellow enough to be perfectly happy as an only dog too. He’s learning to walk on a leash, discovering how fun outdoor adventures can be, and would enjoy a fenced yard to explore, though it’s not required. Sweet, steady, and full of puppy charm, Diglett is the kind of little guy who adapts easily and brings warmth wherever he goes. He’s ready for a loving family who will guide him through puppyhood and enjoy every silly, snuggly moment along the way!   Diglett’s Delightful Highlights: 2‑month‑old, 3‑lb Beagle mix with a sweet, mellow personality Food‑motivated learner who picks up new skills quickly Playful yard adventurer who loves romping with his siblings Steady progress with potty training on a consistent 4–5 hour schedule Crate‑learning pup who settles after a brief cry Friendly with all people and enjoys meeting kids with gentle introductions Dog‑friendly and cat‑friendly — gets along beautifully with all animals in his foster home Toy‑loving cutie who enjoys playful puppy games Learning leash skills and gaining confidence outdoors Easygoing, adaptable temperament — fits well into families with or without fur‑siblings   Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. to ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application.
