Story
Lokee is a wonderfully affectionate pup with youthful exuberance and the ability to chill once he feels safe and comfortable. Lokee wants nothing more than to be your loyal sidekick! He is well-trained and will respond to voice commands. He is housebroken and sleeps quietly in his crate all night. Lokee would thrive on being your main focus, though he’s been getting along well with the resident dog in his foster home and has had some nice play sessions. Lokee is quiet much of the time, although he will be a protective presence and sometimes barks when he hears sounds from outside. Lokee’s been enjoying being in the backyard watching for squirrels and doing the occasional zoomie run. He is working on his leash walking, but at times loud sounds can startle him. Otherwise, he likes the sniffs and excitement from short walks in the neighborhood. Lokee is continuing to build his confidence in meeting new people. Once he knows you, he only wants to love you. HISTORY Lokee came from a local shelter, where he was a volunteer and staff favorite. PHYSICAL Lokee has a compact body, short tan fur, an adorable furrowed brow, and a curlicue tail. MEDICAL Lokee is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He's ready to go to his forever home!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please be sure to read Mae's bio before applying for her.Mae's life began in an unsupportive and neglectful home.  She was confiscated from her original home and brought into a county shelter.  One animal on the property had been tethered and found starved to death, and Mae was one of several other dogs that were impounded.  She was so emaciated that she wasn't far from death herself.  Mae has learned many new things in a loving and supportive foster home, and her foster family has learned a lot about her- and where she would be most comfortable.    Mae would do best in a home with another dog, she loves to wrestle and play.  Another dog her size or larger would do best, since she can be an exuberant play companion.  She completely ignores cats, so having kitties in the home would be ok too.  She definitely requires a secured fenced in yard (no underground fences please) and a home that has the capability to utilize gates to keep her safe until she has had the chance to become acclimated to her new environment.  She can be a bit nervous with new people, but she warms up fast.  She would do best in a home where all children are 12 and over, since she has had limited exposure to children.  Mae still carries memories of her past, and the one detail she is sure of is that her previous tormentor was a bald man- she is terrified of bald men,  men with hair do not seem to be an issue.  She requires an experienced family that will give her the time she needs to get comfortable and blossom into an excellent companion.    Mae is leash trained, house trained (though rainy days can be challenging), crate trained, and she rides well in a car.  She has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 10, 2026, 1:17 am

Story
Gracie has the sweetest personality to match her sweet, sweet face!! This girl loves to chill with you on the couch, play a game of tug, or relax in the yard soaking up the sunshine! She also loves to go for walks! She is really good on the leash and doesn't do the usual beagle nose to the ground. She has her head up high but an occasional scent still gets her attention! Gracie is a true beagle who loves her food and it may show a bit in the fuller figure gal she is but this does not slow her down a bit. She meets people really well, loves ALL attention and does great with other dogs. This little cutie will settle right into home living with little difficulty at all! Gracie will be the best addition to her very lucky furever family!!

Story
Norris puts the "no" in no-fuss and he is bringing his regal beagle style along with his mature self. Norris is an adult beagle who weighs 33 lbs full grown. This gentleman is just that and comes with some distinguished gray in his muzzle, as he has moved through mid life, as well as speckles cute as the day he was born. Norris has lots of experience being a loved family member and is ready to come join you house as such. He is a guy who loves his freedom to roam and does great with the other dogs. Never bats an eye at who he meets. Norris can get chatty, especially when he can't be your shadow so hopefully you love the language of his beagle people. Norris is a ready made love-bug waiting to happen for a lucky family. *Sleepover Feedback: "I had a lovely weekend with Norris. He loved his car ride to and from my house. He is incredibly well-behaved. He walks well on the leash and listens to basic commands to stop, stay and come when called. He spent time with my 10 year old nephew and they got along wonderfully. He didn't encounter any other furry friends, but based on what I saw, I think he would be fine with them. He quickly bonded with me and followed me around the house. He is housebroken and is really good about letting you know if he needs to go out. *Additional feedback: " He is a big time lounger, he was all sniffly, curious guy when we were outdoors but as soon as we hit home. He is on the couch lying flat sleeping monitoring the house from his couch throne, no wanting to play or move much just relaxing all the time on the couch. *He is a wonderful car passenger. Enjoys looking out the window or taking a nap. Norris has excellent potty habits. He only goes outdoors. Some spot all the time. He does not go on wee-wee pads.
