Hi everyone, I want you to meet Gerry! He is an absolute lovebug who loves with all of his heart basically anything that can move. Having a bad day? This guy is going to lift you up, every time. He's a 10 month old puppy that I rescued from the Raleigh SPCA shelter in February of this year.I am seeking to rehome him due to living alone in a smaller apartment and my job, both of which have made life very difficult for us both. Gerry is fully vaccinated, friendly, healthy, and neutered. He's been house-trained and is very good with children and other pets. Walnut was adopted through Find-A-Pet and came from Alabama, she was 17 weeks when adopted. She will be 5 years old in November and is in good physical health. She is a very loyal dog with a loud bark that is great for intruders and would no doubt be a great protector if the need arises. She is most comfortable in quiet settings without other people around, although she is good on walks as long as you are mindful of people walking by as she will bark at them if they get too close. She also loves to run around large yards and has a fun to watch obsession with digging in large sand hills. She can free feed which means she will only eats when she need to so, the bowl can be left down without concerns. She would be good in a family with older kids, but she gets possessive of toys and would be a concern around young children. She is on anti-anxiety medication, to try and knock some of the edge off. Honestly, it pains us to let her go, but circumstances have changed.

She came in to rescue very pregnant and has had multiple litters throughout her life. But those days are behind her now. Ruthie has been spayed and is officially ready to find a family of her own. She's incredibly sweet, loving, and enjoys a quiet peaceful life. She's a little shy around men so she'll need a family willing to give her time to build trust and feel comfortable. She loves women. And once she knows you're her person she has so much love to give. She absolutely loves to be outside and soak up the sunshine, so a secure fenced yard is a must for her. She's a lower energy girl who would be perfectly happy spending her days relaxing in the sunshine and enjoying the simple things in life. Lily is a sweet and spunky 4 year old 48-pound beagle/hound mix. She is completely vetted and healthy Lily's Best Day Lily wants to be with her people and doing whatever you do. She also has a TON of energy and will chase a ball around for an hour-- and wear you out just in watching her TV enthusiast – yes, she really watches with interest. She currently is rewatching Gossip Girl with her foster mama. She really **hates** the manatees screen saver on Apple TV and will try to chase She loves to chase the Roomba, although she knows 'no' when her foster mama tells her to knock it off. Sometimes she will go and nose Roomba to try to get it to play Collector of dog bowls – she gathers them up and bangs them around like trophies Chases her Kong like it owes her money She gets a dental bone each night at bedtime and loves it Training & Temperament: Loves her people – with proper introductions, she greets kids and adults with a happy tail. But if someone wants to sneak into your house-- they won't get very far with Lily on watch. She is VERY protective once settled and can snap if she thinks her people are at risk by an unsanctioned dog or person. Given this, Lily would NOT be good at dog parks-- she would be in cop mode the whole time. Foster mama walks Lily carefully and gives her distance from others on the street so she doesn't feel that her pack is threatened. Food motivated – she learns fast with snacks as rewards.
