Katharina is a is 4 -year-old Coonhound mix of something who currently weighs around 75 pounds. Katharina is fully vetted, crate trained and ready for her furever home. Katharina is not a typical Coonhound, as she prefers to be a stay-at-home dog, laying in or on your lap the whole day and then next to or on your bed with you! Katharina doesn’t enjoy leaving home, but she loves other dogs, in the home. She will make a great companion dog and due to this would prefer a home with a fenced in yard so she can be let out to do her business and roam a bit and come right back in! In her foster home Katharina has met many different types of dogs of all sizes and ages and she welcomes them in with no issues and shows them the rope! As for children, Katharina has done well with them, but we are noticing she would prefer older kids. This big goofy guy is Twitty and let us tell you he can sing like Conway! Twitty is a 51-pound Treeing Walker Coonhound and possible Bluetick Coonhound mix, and he is fully vaccinated and neutered and ready for his forever home! If you like TWC, you will enjoy Twitty and his voice.  He is doing good with other dogs so far and still evaluating the crate and house training as he is at our partners boarding facility, enjoying time with other dogs. We have this gut feeling that he will be snatched up quick, so don’t delay in submitting your app today! My name is Winnie and I am a loving 7 year old, 50 pound girl that is a beautiful Hound breed called a Tree Walker.   I was found as a stray in the middle of a rural highway and I am such a soft and gentle girl that loves to lay around and sleep and just be an easy couch potato friend. I’m a heartworm warrior who successfully defeated this terrible disease.I’m a good-size boy, around 80 pounds. I do great on a leash and I’m a well-mannered car rider! He equally enjoys going for walks and chilling on the couch. While Kash is heartworm positive, he was treated for heartworms and received his last heartworm injection on February 29, 2024. Due to the injections he is currently on crate-rest until mid-April. Afterwards, he will be excited to resume walks and playtime with other furry friends. During his foster stay, he has lost a few pounds and is on his way to a healthy weight. If you are looking for a chill best friend who is up for some weekend adventures, Kash is your guy!

Lacey is a sweet, female, beagle mix weighing in at 48 lbs.  She was surrendered by the owner when we found out she was heartworm positive.  She is 5 years old and up to date on shots/vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.  We have started her on medication to prepare her for her heartworm injections in about 30 days.  PINC pays for these treatments.  We are looking for an adopter that has experience with heartworm treatments. Winnie is 10 months old. She loves to run and play. She is very active and needs a family that can provide play time, a backyard, and frequent walks. Winnie was a rescue dog. My daughter found her when she was about 4 months old in the middle of a storm thrown by a fence. My daughter lives in SC and is away at college, she had been trying to take care of Winnie but because of her school hours and sports she is unable to have her and her dorm will no longer allow Winnie to stay there. My lease will not allow me to keep her. Winnie needs a home that has children or dogs and can provide daily play.
