Story
Lacey is a sweet, female, beagle mix weighing in at 48 lbs.  She was surrendered by the owner when we found out she was heartworm positive.  She is 5 years old and up to date on shots/vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.  We have started her on medication to prepare her for her heartworm injections in about 30 days.  PINC pays for these treatments.  We are looking for an adopter that has experience with heartworm treatments. Lacey is sweet, laid back, loves to be with her person, and loves other dogs.  We follow the American Heartworm Society's heartworm treatment plan and heartworm treatments are administered at Spay Neuter Clinic of the Carolinas.  We will require a fenced-in backyard for Lacey.  www.pincdogrescue.org/adopt is where you can submit an adoption application and see our adoption process. ##1101372##

Story
Hi, I'm Turtle, the charming Beagle/Hound Mix, and I can't wait to find my new best friend! Talking is my thing, so get ready for some heartwarming conversations on the couch. Snuggling is my expertise; I'll keep you cozy and warm for hours! But wait, there's more—I'm an active pup who adores running and playing in a safe, fenced backyard. My smart little brain even learned to ring a bell when I want to go outside! How cool is that? Now, all I need is my forever family to share my adventures and cuddles with. Are you ready for the most loyal and loving companion you've ever met? Then adopt me, and let's make memories together! Submit your application today at www.southcharlottedogrescue.com.

Story
Isla is a 4-year, 35-pound Beagle mix, fully vaccinated, crate and house trained and looking for a home that will work with her. Isla is currently at our daycare provider as an extension of our fostering program and after a bit of decompression she is doing great in daily playgroup! Isla enjoys hanging and playing with all the other dogs.  Isla is the type of girl who is a homebody though and would love to be at home with her new family and not made to go out and about, including walks, unless its back to the daycare she trusts for play dates with friends.  Isla would do best with a fenced in yard, as again she is not one to walk about the neighborhood. Also, don’t let Isla’s white face fool you, that is just part of her coloring, she is only 4 years old! Isla would prefer a home with no cats. If you are interested in adopting Isla, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. Adoption is a suggested donation of no less than $200 to $300, based on age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **June 15, 2024, 5:47 pm

Story
Sally is a 5-year-old Beagle mix who weighs 28 pounds. This sweet girl was a stray and no one came to claim her. She is house trained and crate trained. Sally sleeps quietly at night and is very quiet in her crate during the day when left alone. She gets along well with other dogs and so far, is ignoring the cats in her foster home. There are no kids in her foster home so we are not sure how she would do with them. Sally is shy and nervous and very sensitive to sounds. She will need someone willing to work with her to build her confidence and help her overcome her fears. Sally is cuddly and loves to be petted. Her favorite place is next to her foster mom on the couch getting pets. She also enjoys treats, chewing bones and sniffing around the yard. Sally will make a wonderful companion! If you are interested in adopting Sally, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. Story
Hello everyone!  My name is Vanna and I am a very sweet and gentle puppy for such a young age.  I am almost 6 months old and I weigh 16 pounds and they say that I am possibly a beagle mix and will maybe be about 25-30 pounds tops when I am fully grown up. I am very affectionate and love getting lots of pets and scratches. I am always in a good mood and ready for the next adventure . In my foster home I get along great with my Foster friends. We have a blast playing in the fenced in backyard and I love to get in the bushes or the monkey grass and play hide and seek.  My imagination is full of fun things to do and places to explore with my Beagle shaped nose and genetics. It is a lot of fun being a puppy but what I really need is to be in a home with children to grow up with and who will help me learn all the good manners that a grown up dog should have.  I can play hard and have a lot of fun, but then I settle down nicely inside to rest. I would love to lay in a dog bed and sleep by someone’s bed all through the night and I wouldn’t make a peep. My ideal home would have kids, adults who know how to teach a dog good tricks and commands and will give me a schedule to follow.  This would be my ideal dream home. I am spayed and all vaccinations done, plus microchipped.  I am ready if you are. So, think about it and just let Critter Cavalry Rescue know at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.  They will get you all fixed up with an adoption application. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 15, 2024, 6:40 am
