Meet Brewie! This sweet boy is, quite frankly, a lovable doofus — the kind of happy hound who’ll make you laugh every single day. Brewie is a Treeing Walker Coonhound mix who’s great with other dogs and loves all people. He lives in a foster home with other pups and spends his days chasing them around the yard, playing with toys, and showing off his goofy grin. When he’s inside, Brewie proudly takes on the role of floor inspector — always on the lookout for stray crumbs. Have kids? Adopt Brewie and your floors will stay spotless! He’s also a big fan of treats, toys, and adventures. Whether it’s hiking, kayaking, or just going for a car ride, Brewie’s always ready to tag along. Like any good hound, he loves to follow his nose and has a beautiful singing voice he uses to let you know when it’s time to go outside or grab a snack. He may not have the brains of a scholar, but he makes up for it with his sweet, goofy, and endlessly charming personality. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, social, and affectionate companion who’ll make every day brighter, Brewie is your guy! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Oakley 🐶✨13 weeks old • Male • 20 lbsOakley’s mom was a Treeing Walker Coonhound and dad is a mystery man 🕵️‍♂️🐾 We suspect Oakley will grow into a 50+ lb dog, but he could end up a little smaller or a little bigger. One thing we do know for sure — this boy is ALL hound!Oakley thrives on excitement, action, and playtime! He loves to run hard, play hard, and sniff every inch of the yard like it’s his full-time job 👃🌿 A home with several children would likely be a great fit for Oakley because loud, energetic play doesn’t phase him one bit. He’d also love some playful dog friends to wrestle, zoom, and explore with every day. 🐕💨Like a typical hound, food is Oakley’s ultimate motivator 🍖😂 Treats are definitely the way to this boy’s heart.Apartment living probably isn’t the ideal fit for Oakley unless you’re someone who enjoys long walks, hiking, running, or lots of outdoor adventures. A country home with room to roam, sniff, and do endless zoomies sounds like absolute heaven to him 🌾☀️ And fair warning — hounds LOVE the sound of their own voice, so a home where barking won’t be an issue would be best! 📣🐾If you’re looking for a fun, energetic, goofy adventure buddy, Oakley may just be your perfect match ❤️Oakley is vaccinated, flea & tick treated, given dewormer, neutered and will be microchipped upon adoption. Oakley's adoption fee is $250. You can stop into the shelter 12- 5 pm Monday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption.We're open Monday through Friday 12-5 pm and Saturday 11-3 pm. We're located at 9331 State Route 124 Hillsboro, OH. Our adoption is open and easy, please come to the shelter to meet the animals in person to adopt.

🐾 Meet Acacia 🐾Acacia is a 13-week-old goofy girl with just the right mix of shy and silly 💕 While she can be a little timid meeting new people at first, that doesn’t stop her from being wiggly, playful, and full of personality 🥹🐶This girl LOVES to move! 🐕💨 Running around the play yard playing “catch me if you can” is basically her favorite sport 😂 Give her some room to zoom, a playful dog or some kids to chase around with, and she’s one happy puppy 🌿✨And if there’s one thing Acacia loves even more than zoomies… it’s FOOD 🍖🤣 Treats? Amazing. Dinner? Incredible. Extra snacks? Her love language. She’s definitely food motivated and ready to learn all kinds of fun things with snacks involved 💕 She’s also just starting to learn about walking on a leash 🦮🐶 Acacia would love a home with:👧 Kids to play with🐕 Friendly dogs for zoomies and games🌳 A fenced yard for running and playing catch-me🐱 Cats? We aren’t sure yet!Acacia currently weighs 18 lbs and is expected to grow to 40+ lbs full grown.
