Our best guess is that Smiley is a Basset Hound/Australian Shepherd mix, but we can’t say for sure. Whatever his breed makeup may be, he is 100% adorable. Smiley is the perfect mix of cute and charming. Whether he is waddling around on his tiny legs, soaking up attention, or simply hanging out with his people, he is guaranteed to bring smiles wherever he goes. At six years old, she has perfected the art of being a relaxed, well-mannered house companion. Gretel is a professional lounger who is fully potty trained and knows exactly how to behave indoors. While she was adopted as a puppy, she recently returned to us after a misunderstanding with a small child. Because of this, Gretel is looking for an adult-only home where she can be the center of your world. She’s a "people person" who prefers to be your one-and-only pet—no other dogs needed when she has you! If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance best friend to keep your sofa warm, Gretel is your girl. This sweet adorably cute little man has a momma for a basset hound and daddy was a terrier Pomeranian mix. Yup. He’s a pomersetterrier. He is about 25 pounds and is 10 months old. He came to OBHR because his previous family didn’t have the time needed to make this boy SHINE! He will need help with house breaking but he’s young and eager to learn! What he doesn’t need any help with is being a handsome cuddly love bug!! He will need an active family and a fenced in yard. He is currently in the Columbus area, up to date and neutered! His adoption fee is $300.  Adoption Process: To meet one our dogs you must first fill out our application on our website ohiobassetrescue.com. Once submitted one of our volunteers will reach out to you. Upon approval you will be given an approval code to email us at ohbassetrescue@yahoo.com. Approvals are good for 6 months for any current or future dogs. After 6 months you will be directed to fill out an updated application. Please note we only process applications where the adopter lives in OH, IN, KY, PA, WV, lower MI. Adopters must be willing to travel to meet the dog they are adopting. Dogs locations are listed on their profile description on our website. Dogs are NOT all located in Brookville, that is our mailing address.
