Gingerbread is a gentle hound mix who has been learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. She can be shy with new people at first, but with patience and consistency, her confidence is steadily growing and she is blossoming beautifully. Watching her take those small steps forward is incredibly rewarding. She is currently still a little nervous on a leash, but Gingerbread is being very brave and working through it beautifully. This is Miller, he was an adoption/rescue. We took him in as a pup with intentions of getting him a new home but fell in love and had to keep him. Unfortunately when he got older the flow with our two other dogs didn’t mesh well. We do not like having to have him separated and gated off. He seems like a dog that needs to be an only pet preferably someone who can show him the love and attention he deserves. He’s a wonderful young guy full of energy and does like cuddles and doesn’t mind if you dress him and loves to play. He does like to chase small animals so a nice yard is preferred and needs that awareness and attention. He’s a very curious guy so he likes to smell every nook and cranny.

Cat, dog, kid friendly with an easygoing, gentle nature. His favorite place to be? On the couch, with a pillow and blanket, snoozing away beside you. He's not much of a cuddler, but he enjoys being in the same space as his people. He will bay if he hears another dog barking or cry if his people leave the house, but he's good enough to leave out of a crate and not get into mischief. While he does have short hair, he will shed, leaving tiny white fluffs behind him. He could use an occasional brushing with a soft brush, and a jacket or warm vest for the snow or cold. He does enjoy going for walks, but cold weather is not his favorite. He also doesn't like sudden movement or noises, and will visibly startle. With gentle encouragement, he calms down quickly.
