Story
Palace and her siblings were born outside a restaurant and living in the woods. The people that own the restaurant we're feeding them everyday and we're giving them attention and try to make shelters for them. When we found out about it we asked them if we could help them get them spayed or neutered and possibly find a home. They did not want them to go anywhere they like their company but when the landlord found out about it he said they had to leave, so we took them in. They are all now spayed, vaccinated for fvrcp and rabies, flea and worm treated and are negative for feline leukemia and AIDS. India and her sister Palace would make a great match if you're looking for a pair and if interested please fill out our application at castawaycatsde.com

Story
CJ is the sweetest and goofiest kitten you will ever meet! All he wants to do is romp around and play, but when he is sleepy is the purrfect snuggle buddy! CJ gets along great with other animals and kids! We believe he would thrive in a home with another young cat to play with and keep him from getting into mischief. He is good buddies with his foster sibling, Enderdragon so they can be adopted together if you are looking for a pair! CJ does have some scarring on his eyes from severe eye infections when he was young. This scarring does not cause him any pain or discomfort, but does cause his eyes to tear a bit more than the average cat. He will not require any further care for his eyes, but they will always look a bit different. Thankfully, he does not let them slow him down and does not appear to have any visual impairment. Story
*Solar and Eclipse have been adopted*These sweet babies were born outside to a stray mom who was trying to keep them protected near a wall of a townhouse. Unfortunately where they were at, it was not safe at all and someone called us and we went and got them all. Our wonderful foster took care of them till they were old enough to be spayed and neutered and now they are all looking for their new permanent homes. They have been spayed or neutered vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, have been flea and worm treated and are negative for feline leukemia and AIDS. Two girls and two boys in the order of their pictures and bios below: Mystique is a shy cat at first, but once she feels comfortable she’ll come over for pets and attention. She likes to explore her surroundings and play with toys when she feels safe. With a little patience, she becomes a really sweet and curious companion Midnight is a bold, sassy girl who definitely has her own opinions. She does what she wants, when she wants, but she’ll always come running for treats. Once she warms up to you, she’ll lean in for pets and show her sweet side. A little attitude, a lot of charm. Midnight keeps life interesting! Solar is a curious cat who likes to be part of whatever you’re doing. He’s playful, outgoing, and always ready to check out something new. He keeps himself busy exploring and enjoys being around people Eclipse is a sweet, loyal boy who actually comes when he’s called. He loves pets, treats, and being close to his favorite people. He’s the kind of cat who quietly follows you from room to room just so he can stay by your side. Story
Sweetie pie is a male cat who I got from the shelter in 2018 at the time he was 7 years old. They told me his birthday was December 12th so he is 14 years old now. Sweetie pie is a very loving cat likes a lot of attention very happy being beside you and on your lap. He enjoys sleeping beside you and laying on very comfy blankets. He likes to go outside on the deck likes to look out the window and likes to drink water from the bathroom faucet when permitted but also drinks from his bowl. I'm going to be very sad giving him up because he is very loving and a lot of company and he has no health issues just a little chunky.

Story
IZZY is an 11 yr old long-haired kitty who was surrendered to us because she was having accidents outside litter box. Her family took her to the vet but nothing seemed to help and, since her owner was disabled, they were no longer able to cope with the situation. Izzy was, not surprisingly, shut down when she arrived here when one of our wonderful foster moms stepped up to give her sanctuary in her bedroom. (Thanks, Gabbey!). Izzy was seen by Crest View Animal Clinic, LLC and her urinalysis was clear. By process of elimination, we deducted that her poor little declawed paws are sore from arthritis and hurt when she digs in the litter. We got her the softest, cloud like litter that we could find (OkoCat Super Soft) and, voila! She started using the box again. She also got an injection Solensia, for pain/inflammation which will also help if there is inflammation in her urinary tract. Izzy is now using the litter box every time and she gets a treat afterwards too! Izzy is a shy kitty and would do well in a quiet home. She would be a wonderful companion for somebody who is home much of the day. We know it’s hard to take in a kitty who had accidents in the past but Izzy is looking to put the past behind her. And hopefully the cruel practice of declawing will soon be in the past too. But if you’re looking for a sweet kitty who has been declawed and just needs a little extra TLC, Izzy is your gal! Apply at www.companimals.org if you’re interested in adding Izzy to your family. Adoption $50August 3, 2025, 12:12 pm
