Turkish Van kittens & cats in Garland, Texas

All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Casey:  Snowshoe Siamese, DOB 4/12/18, Male, affectionately know as Big Daddy Sasha: Turkish Van Calico, DOB 10/26/21, female Casey and Sasha ended up in a local shelter when their owner died, and the executor of the estate didn’t know what to do with the cats.  The owner originally adopted Casey from Cat Matchers when he was a kitten.  Luckily, he had a microchip and we were contacted.  Sasha was adopted by the owner through a different rescue group.  Per the shelter, the rescue declined to take Sasha back.  Casey and Sasha were sitting on top of each other in the shelter cages.  They were terrified and bonded to the point that if they could have crawled into each other’s body, they probably would have.  Cat Matchers decided to take Sasha back in with Casey.  There was a 3rd cat from this owner that also came through a different rescue.  Cat Matchers took this one as well.  The 3rd cat wasn’t very bonded to this pair, so we were able to get her adopted on her own. Casey and Sasha were really depressed and stopped eating for a while.  They had to be syringe and hand fed at first.   Casey had all of his teeth removed prior to our picking him up from the shelter.   Sasha ended up needing her teeth removed as well, so we took care of that.    Even though they are missing their teeth, they can eat small kibble dry food and wet food just fine. Sasha is very affectionate. She likes to be held. She will put both her arms around your neck, hang on tight and kiss and kiss and kiss she does kiss a lot and it can be annoying to the wrong person. Big daddy is very outgoing and very friendly. He’s not a giant fan of being held but maybe down the road. It’s not fear it’s just he’s really playful and outgoing and he loves baby talk so if whoever picks him up could baby talk with him that would go a long way to keeping him from reverting back to fear and would be great given all that he’s been through. He really responds to baby talk. These 2 wonderful cats are bonded and should be adopted together. We hope you can find it in your heart to adopt an older pair of cats and give them a forever home to call their own. Sasha is a charming Turkish Van calico cat, with a heart as gentle as her purrs. She was adopted as a kitten but the owners life changed and now she is in need of her forever home with her adoptive brother, Casey.  Sasha can seem a bit shy when you first meet, however, with gentle affection she will quickly warm up and her true friendly nature will shine through.  Once she feels safe, Sasha will curl up in your lap, purring her sweet purr. Meet Maya!  Maya was rescued along with her siblings by her foster mom and has blossomed into a sweet, confident, and affectionate kitten. She is curious about everything and approaches life with a fearless spirit, always ready for her next adventure.  This playful girl loves all kinds of toys and enjoys spending time wrestling and playing with her siblings. One of Maya's favorite places to be is perched on your shoulders, where she can relax and keep an eye on everything around her. Maya is also a little purring machine. The moment she is picked up or petted, her motor starts running, making it clear just how much she enjoys attention and affection. She has been raised around resident cats and gets along well with them. She has not yet been introduced to dogs. Hemi is a gorgeous DSH Calico/Tortoiseshell female born approximately 8/14/2020. Meet Hemi! Hemi was adopted from NBCR as a kitten. She is sadly being returned to us as her adopter's life situation has changed. Sweet little Hemi was rescued under the direst circumstances. She was left in a parking lot with her front left leg severed and her deceased sibling lying next to her. Hemi was a short time away from dying herself when a good Samaritan stumbled upon her and rushed her to a vet clinic where they were able to save her life. What remained of her leg was cleaned and sutured, she got started on fluids and antibiotics and given around the clock TLC. With the care she received, she not only survived, but thrived! Hemi is a sweet, gentle tripod cat with a quiet soul. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she is such a sweetheart.  Hemi would do best in a calm, peaceful, stress-free, and predictable home without other pets or young children, where she can settle in at her own pace and feel secure. She loves cuddling up beside you in bed, where she's happiest enjoying quiet companionship and lots of love. Pam is a unique, affectionate, and vocal cat who was originally rescued as a foster but stayed because we fell in love with her.
