Calico kittens & cats in Garland, Texas

Pixy is a gentle and loving cat, I hate to have to give her up but my schedule is so busy and I hate the guilt that comes with not giving her as much love as she deserves. She hardly bites, only when you scratch her stomach and those are always playful bites. She loves cuddling and sitting in your lap and following you everywhere, it’s the cutest thing ever. She isn’t a lot to maintain and keep clean. Loves baths and loves getting her claws trimmed.

Taylor is a beautiful DSH Calico with white female born approximately 9/12/2021. "I'm just a wisp of a girl, super sweet, and love to perch on a nice shoulder and give people a good bath. I'm very vocal and very food motivated; my fosters think that I might be trainable! I am curious about everything and have even figured out how to open cabinet doors! I am friendly with people and other cats. I enjoy interactive play with you, but when on my own, I can keep myself amused with my toys. I have a lot of energy and do my twice-a-day zooms like clock work. I enjoy watching the goings-on outside my foster room window. I also love to snuggle up close at nap time. I prefer to drink water by finding a faucet with a drip, but I am never messy." According to her foster, Taylor is a bit of a nut - a funny girl with LOTS of purr-sonality! She is so entertaining. Penny is a beautiful DSH Calico female born approximately 9/1/2023. Her coat is very striking as it is a combination of calico, tortoiseshell, and tabby. Her eyes and eyeliner are a lovely copper color. Penny came to NBCR through a neighborhood TNR. An NBCR volunteer was helping a neighbor and agreed to transport and hold Penny for the recovery period, then she was to be released back into the neighborhood. Once inside, though, it was clear that this tiny 6-pound girl was just too little, too sweet, and too loving to be put back outside. It's hard to believe such a gentle little girl was managing on her own! Right now Penny is enjoying being inside with a nice, comfy bed (or 2!), plenty of food, and lots of love. She is also discovering the pleasure of scratchers, toys, and treats. She is remarkably well-adjusted and confident for being outside on her own.  "She is just so stinkin' cute!" can be heard about a thousand times a day in Penny's foster home. Penny is extremely affectionate and likes nothing better than to curl up in your lap, knead, and purr up a storm (and has recently been known to do a little drooling.) Although she would be happy to be with peeps 24 hours a day, she is quite content in her foster room playing on her own, watching birds and neighborhood activity from the window, or taking a little nap. Her favorite toys are puff balls and Da Bee wand toy. She has very good kitty manners and uses her litter box faithfully. We aren't sure how Penny will be with other cats and dogs. She is in a foster home with other cats, but hasn't spent time with them yet. She does allow her foster mom to carry her throughout the house to say "Hi!" though. :)  Penny is currently eating Purina One Advantage turkey hard food and Fancy Feast canned food. (She's not a fan of pate.  The neighbor was feeding her Costco rotisserie chicken, so she's a bit spoiled... haha) If you are looking for a too cute little lovebug, Penny is your girl! Sweet girl found outside ... Princess Moira is a beauty and needs a family that will show a little patience whilst she settles in, but they will be rewarded with lots of love and cuddles. She is happy playing or resting by your side. She lives with and tolerates dogs, but doesn't care for them. Moira plays chase with her foster mom and loves to jump scare humans. She has an adorable and unique personality.  ##1586989##

Claquette is a gorgeous Calico who came to us from a shelter in Laredo, Texas. She is so beautiful and gentle and truly wants to have a home to call her own. She had a bumpy start in life and was very scared and hid a lot when she first came to us. She's been gaining her confidence and blossoming into a very loving cat. She will do elevator butts when you pet her and even makes biscuits a few times a week. She is excellent with other cats and feels safest when there are other cats around her. She will be a great addition to any home with other cats or even a gentle dog to share her life with. She may take a moment to decompress and gain her barings after she is adopted, but she will be a forever grateful and loving girl to whomever is lucky enough to share space with this precious kitty.   Claquette came with the name Flip-Flop and we thought she is just too beautful to have such a basic name. In French, les claquette refers to flip-flops or slides and sandals.  ##1680765##

Smalls (a.k.a. Smallsey, a.k.a. Baby Smalls) and her four siblings, Turbo, Ziggy, Ronnie, and Mr. Bingley were born to mama Jolene on April 20th, 2023 in my backyard. She was one of three girls born in the litter, and is one of the silliest. All of the babies are very playful and incredibly loving, but Smalls is one that can often be found on my lap. She can be a littlle shy at first, but is sweet as can be, and is a big time snuggler. She and her 2 remaining siblings get along great, and love to zoom around the house and snuggle together.  ##1723201##

Mocha was originally born as an outdoor cat and has become an inside cat due to not being spayed. She's very shy and scared at first, but once she gets to know you, she's very sweet. Her age is unknown but may be between 4-5 years old. Mocha has a habit of getting into the trash, and may get on top of furniture, but with the right training, she should be just fine. She does not get along with dogs but may get comfortable with other cats. Additionally, she will need a flea bath. She is not fond of being held, but greatly enjoys being pet and can be quite the chatterbox. If you are interested in Mocha, please reach out as I am in a hurry to find her a good home. Unfortunately, I have a busy home of cats, and do not have the means, nor transportation to help her out. She deserves as much love and attention as any other cat. With that being said, a close by meet up would be most convenient, and preferably your own cat carrier, for ease of taking her home but not required.

Nikki Sevven had her babies around the beginning of May 2023 in a mechanics shop in an industrial area. The kind people at the shop fed Nikki, but this sweet little family deserved a better life away from the grease and oil smells. Thankfully, life was about to get better, and after several baths and a vet check-up, Nikki and her kittens are all moved into a foster home. Tiny Nikki Sevven wants to be your best friend. She's a snuggler and a purrer and likes to hang out with her foster mom. She has gorgeous tortie markings and will make the purr-fect lovable companion. She's still young and very playful and charges up and down the hallway at night chasing balls or one of her babies. Nikki is a talker and walks around the house chatting, With her big eyes and sleek coat she may have some siamese in her. Nikki shares her foster home with cats, dogs and kids. She avoids the dogs and prefers hanging out with her kittens over the adult cats. She does like company so be prepared to have Nikki follow you to the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom, the bedroom. She would love to be adopted with one of her kittens - Cloud, Marmalade or Polly Jean (ie. her mini-me).

She is a beautiful tortie and has a beautiful personality to match. She loves everyone, her human foster family, her cat and dog foster family, and of course her own family. She would love to be adopted with one of her siblings - Marmalade or Cloud - or even momma Nikki. She plays hard and then naps hard. Sneak attacks on her siblings are not against the rules, but that doesn't stop a kitten cuddle puddle when it comes to nap time. Polly Jean would like to be in a house with another cat, or with someone that will give her lots of attention.
