Story
All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Casey:  Snowshoe Siamese, DOB 4/12/18, Male, affectionately know as Big Daddy Sasha: Turkish Van Calico, DOB 10/26/21, female Casey and Sasha ended up in a local shelter when their owner died, and the executor of the estate didn’t know what to do with the cats.  The owner originally adopted Casey from Cat Matchers when he was a kitten.  Luckily, he had a microchip and we were contacted.  Sasha was adopted by the owner through a different rescue group.  Per the shelter, the rescue declined to take Sasha back.  Casey and Sasha were sitting on top of each other in the shelter cages.  They were terrified and bonded to the point that if they could have crawled into each other’s body, they probably would have.  Cat Matchers decided to take Sasha back in with Casey.  There was a 3rd cat from this owner that also came through a different rescue.  Cat Matchers took this one as well.  The 3rd cat wasn’t very bonded to this pair, so we were able to get her adopted on her own. Casey and Sasha were really depressed and stopped eating for a while.  They had to be syringe and hand fed at first.   Casey had all of his teeth removed prior to our picking him up from the shelter.   Sasha ended up needing her teeth removed as well, so we took care of that.    Even though they are missing their teeth, they can eat small kibble dry food and wet food just fine. Sasha is very affectionate. She likes to be held. She will put both her arms around your neck, hang on tight and kiss and kiss and kiss she does kiss a lot and it can be annoying to the wrong person. Big daddy is very outgoing and very friendly. He’s not a giant fan of being held but maybe down the road. It’s not fear it’s just he’s really playful and outgoing and he loves baby talk so if whoever picks him up could baby talk with him that would go a long way to keeping him from reverting back to fear and would be great given all that he’s been through. He really responds to baby talk. These 2 wonderful cats are bonded and should be adopted together. We hope you can find it in your heart to adopt an older pair of cats and give them a forever home to call their own. Sasha is a charming Turkish Van calico cat, with a heart as gentle as her purrs. She was adopted as a kitten but the owners life changed and now she is in need of her forever home with her adoptive brother, Casey.  Sasha can seem a bit shy when you first meet, however, with gentle affection she will quickly warm up and her true friendly nature will shine through.  Once she feels safe, Sasha will curl up in your lap, purring her sweet purr. She had her shots, spayed, microchip, etc and  is ready to become a treasured member of your family. Will you be the one to give her the forever home she deserves?  They deserve a home for 2026!! Story
Meet Max! Max is a sweet and playful cat. He is mostly white with black on his face and tail, very beautiful cat and his eyes are beautiful green. My husband rescued him while he was at his job a few years back. Max just came right up to him and crawled up on his shoulders. He was very malnourished, but he is happy and healthy now. He is up to date on his rabies vaccine until 2027, his other vaccine for one year and is neutered. He is also microchipped. Max is such a sweet and loving cat that deserves the best home. He will cuddle, but he also loves to play with his little fish that we got him for Christmas and he also likes laser pointers for a little bit. He is vocal when he is excited and playing, but itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s very cute. He likes to look out of the window and yell at the squirrels and birds that he wants to play with. Max is pretty good with our four year-old as long as our four-year-old is gentle and lets him leave when Max wants to. We do have two dogs that we think he wants to play with but the dogs do not care for it. He has not been around any other cats to our knowledge so we are not sure how he would do with cats, but I imagine he would love a friend since he can be very playful. If you have a blanket, he will jump into your lap and lay there for as long as you allow him for a nap. Max is litter box trained and will play with any toys provided. Max is very sweet and loving, but we are unfortunately needing to rehome him due to his dietary needs. We had a very big scare a few months ago when he had an obstruction in his urinary tract and we almost lost him. He has fully recovered and is on a royal cannon urinary care diet (approx. $150/month for dry & wet food or $174/month for all wet food). I recently lost my job and it was already difficult to afford the food let alone now. He is such a sweet and loving cat and deserves all the love in the world. Story
Yuki is a super loving 8-month old kitty with a big heart and even bigger love for cuddles. He’s quiet vocal when he’s ready for affection and will happily chat his way into cuddle time. When is time to wind down, Yuki loves making biscuits and snuggling up close for bed. Yuki’s story began when his stray mom was found giving birth ti her kittens. He was taken in and raise in a safe, loving home, where he learned how to trust people and show his affectionate personality. Because of this, Yuki is very sweet, social, and well-adjusted. Yuki is fully litter box trained and ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for an adorable, cuddly boy who will fill your life with love, purrs, and companionship, Yuki is the one for you. I will also pay for him to get neutered.

Story
Meet Brandy, a beautiful tabby and white girl with a gentle heart and a bit of a sassy streak! She may start off a little shy when meeting someone new, but give her time and space, and you’ll quickly see her sweet, affectionate side shine through.Brandy has the cutest way of showing love—head bumps and full-body rubs are her signature moves (a trait she shares with her siblings). Once she feels comfortable, she’ll be by your side, offering affection and even the occasional kiss—on her terms, of course. She’s grown up in a lively home with cats, foster kittens, and dogs of all sizes, and she fits right in. Brandy has never been without feline companionship, so she’d thrive in a home with at least one other friendly cat. She loves to play all day with her furry friends, chasing, pouncing, and entertaining everyone around her.At night, she turns into a little cuddle bug. Brandy will seek you out for snuggles and might even cry if you close the bedroom door on her—she wants to be near her person when it’s time to wind down. While Brandy is incredibly loving, she also has a bit of spice and might not be the best fit for homes with very young children. She knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to let you know!Brandy has developed particular taste in food—she’s picky with wet food but adores Dr. Marty’s freeze-dried chicken kibble. Her dry food is left out for grazing, and she’s doing well with the litter box, with no specific litter preferences. One of Brandy’s most adorable quirks? She wags her tail like a dog when she’s happy! And her meow? It’s more of a soft, sweet “Muuuu” sound that will absolutely melt your heart.Oh—and we can't forget her most impressive talent: Brandy is a professional pole dancer on the cat tree, showing off moves that are equal parts graceful and hilarious. If you're looking for a playful, cuddly, slightly sassy companion with lots of love to give—and a big personality—Brandy might just be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting please complete our online application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=lv2236&method=online_form_html&formid=43Adoption Fee is $100.00All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped.

Story
Peaches (aka “Mama/Mamas”)1 year old | FemalePeaches is a very special lady with a gentle heart and a quiet strength. 💗She doesn’t actually know the name Peaches—she’s always been called Mama or Mamas, and she happily responds to that. She came into foster care as a very skinny, extremely skittish young mom who had clearly had a rough start. Despite that, she was a wonderful, devoted mother, and all of her babies quickly found their forever homes. Mama, however, has taken a little longer—and that’s perfectly okay. With lots of patience and letting her move at her own pace, she has truly blossomed. She’s discovered that she enjoys affection more than she fears it, and now she seeks out love and face scritches (her absolute favorite!). She no longer darts away when someone stands up or enters the room, and hearing her tiny meow for the first time was a huge milestone. She also has a lovely purr motor once she’s comfortable.Mama does best in a calm, quiet home with someone who understands that trust takes time. She’s great with laid-back cats and has even been very patient with kitten fosters. She’s currently on a bit of a diet after sneaking kitten food (she’s not fat—just fluffy 😉).She is not a fan of being picked up or carried, and when she’s scared, she simply runs and hides. She has never hissed, swatted, or bitten out of fear. Lately, she’s even become a little adorably demanding for affection—if you take too long, she may give a very gentle, careful nip as if to say, “Excuse me… I require love now, please and thank you.” ☺️Mama deserves a home of her very own, with people who will spoil her, respect her boundaries, and give her the time she needs to settle in. For the right person, she will be an incredibly rewarding companion—and she is so very worth it. 💗If you are interested in adopting please complete our online application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=lv2236&method=online_form_html&formid=43Adoption Fee is $100.00All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped.Note: We are part of Texas Rustlers Guinea Pig Rescue - www.texasrustlers.com
