Story
Archie started as a foster in our pack of four.Archie is a one year old, neutered male. He is extremely sweet and absolutely loves girls and women. He does take patience to warm up to men as he was previously abused by one. He is a sweet dog when in the home and loves to cuddle. Archie is crate trained, house trained and leash trained He LOVES going on walks and runs!!Recently, he has not been getting along with one of our pups. Although he doesn’t like our one dog, he gets along AMAZING with our shepherd mix We are just hoping to find a more comfortable placement for him!He is a viszla/beagle/possibly pit mix adopted from Chippewa County Animal Shelter. We can also provide a kennel. He has been through a 2 week board and train at Great Lakes Dog training and has stayed there for overnight boarding as well. He consistently attends a dog boarding facility and has no issues there.He is a great pup and just needs someone who is is patient, loving and able to work with him.

Story
Meet Cletus! This cutie pie may only be one year old, but he packs all the personality you'll need into one 30-pound pittie/viszla package. Cletus is a boy that appreciates life's simple pleasures. If you have the toys-he has the time! Watching how much joy he gains from tossing his plushy toys in the air is enough to make anyone smile. This pup loves his treats and sits nicely for them while taking them gently. Of course Cletus always makes time for cuddles with his adoring fans and he'll make and excellent snuggle pal for his new family. Cletus went on an outing with one of our fabulous volunteers and boy did he have fun! They hit the trail and he enjoyed wandering along, taking in all of the new scents and sights along the way. He stopped multiple times to roll in the grass and and indulge in some much needed belly rubs too. He needed some encouragement in the car, but we think he'll continue to get more comfy with practice. As he's still a young man, Cletus will benefit from daily exercise, continued training and some outdoor space in his new home. He is curious about the world around him and we can't think of a better way to spend our time than hanging with this fabulous boy! Based on our evaluation, we feel Cletus would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages five and up. He may have the ability to live in a home with other dogs and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. Think he could be the pup for you?
