Meet Jen Ann! This sweet girl was rescued from a kill shelter in Imperial County with her sister, Julia! Jen Ann has learned a potty routine and is learning to trust people again. She is still shy with new faces, but very playful and affectionate with kids and dogs. She loves romping around in the yard with other canine friends. She is still working on her leash training as she is still nervous in new environments. She loves her treats and has learned the comforts of her crate. Jen Ann loves the water and digging. Jen Ann can be shy at first but is learning to trust new people, she has picked up the dynamics of her foster home. This sweet girl is around 9 months old and weighs around 50 lbs. She has quickly adapted to a daily routine. She enjoys playful moments with children and other dogs, showcasing her gentle nature. She is both crate and house trained, and while still honing her leash skills. Merlina is approximately 1 year of age, around 65 pounds, spayed and fully vaccinated & microchipped Weimaraner breed. She is still practicing potty and leash training but IS crate trained~ soon she will be a pro of all three!! She is affectionate, playful and very sociable. Merlina gets along well with other dogs (but is better paired with a male companion ) adults and children alike. Given her young age she should be able to learn your family’s routine rather quickly and become part of the gang in no time!!! Merlina was found alone; malnourished in the park (TJ). Afraid for her safety she was rescued and is now flourishing under the loving care of FHSTJ. (Aug 2025) Merlina has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide her with the affection and attention she craves. She deserves a warm and loving home where she can feel cherished as a member of the family!!!

Hi, I’m Roko! I’ve been patiently waiting for my forever family, and I know the right one is out there for me. I would love to be part of an active home with kids—I absolutely adore them! I’m gentle, calm, and I never jump. Most days, I’m happiest just relaxing on the couch or snoozing in my foster’s office while she works. I like how she works from home due to I do not like being separated from my human. I also go to daycare, where I’m the quiet observer—I love to just watch the other dogs play. But when the zoomies hit, it’s the cutest thing you’ll ever see! I do need my long daily walks and I’m an avid hiker, I love to sniff and explore the world around me. If you enjoy outdoor adventures, I’d love to be your companion.
