Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Very sweet, 11 month old male Weimaraner/lab with amputated front leg Meet Will, a joyful boy who has so much love to give. He’s a GORGEOUS 11-month-old weimaraner/lab mix with the most beautiful amber eyes and regal posture.    In his short life, Will has been through A LOT! During an adoption event in December, he was attacked and punched by a homeless person, and shortly after that, he broke out of his collar, escaped, and lived on his own in the cold Washington wilderness for five days until he was eventually trapped and brought to safety. Most recently, he had part of his right leg amputated due to a bone deformity caused by a calcium deficiency in utero. He does not know that he has three legs and can run and jump and play and do ALL the things that he was able to do with four legs.    He deserves to be treated like KING because even though he’s been through so much, he has the sweetest disposition and forgiving nature.    He is a FABULOUS dog who is good with cats, good with other dogs, and good with most kids. He is currently fostered with a cat, a dog, a chinchilla, and 3 kids (boys - ages 8, 14, 16). He and the 8-year-old are the best of buds. He is a pro at walking on a leash, and his recall is excellent.  He is potty-trained and  can easily stay home during the day for 7 or 8 hours.    He is an incredibly smart, fast learner who is so fun to train. He currently knows how to sit on command and knows how to come when called. He’s also trained to wait for his leash to be put on before heading out for a walk. We are working on teaching him to stay and shake. He loves to go on car rides, walks, hikes, Home Depot, and Pet Smart.    He absolutely LOVES to go on hikes and walks and loves being by his people’s side. He also loves playing with other dogs - so far, he has never met a dog that he doesn’t get along with! He loves to seek out new smells, tumble around with other dogs, and chase remote control cars - even with only having three legs :)    He sleeps through the night and gets in a routine pretty quickly. For a puppy, he’s on the calmer side; however, he LOVES to play with other dogs, big and small. He especially likes dogs that like to chase, “battle,” as my son calls it, and tumble around. He also loves to chew on toys, especially bones, and he enjoys playing with stuffed animals.   He bonds VERY quickly with women, and he is sometimes slower to warm up to some teenage boys, but overall, he is accepting of and excited to meet most people. Story
This gorgeous blue boy is available for adoption from Jericho's Promise Animal Rescue located in Johnson Valley in Southern California. I can transport him throughout SoCal, and other transport is available to Oregon and Washington! His name is Rascal and I think he might possibly be a weimaraner mix. He is apprx 5 to 6 months old. He has a wonderful temperament! Calm and easy going. He does great with other dogs, cats and kids. He loves being next to and cuddling with his person. In fact, he curls up in a box under his foster mommy's desk to be close to her while she works. I think he may be around 55 pounds full grown, although he could be significantly smaller. I don't think he will be bigger. Jericho's Promise Animal Rescue is waiving his adoption fee, but there will be an application, home check, and a contract. References will be checked. Adopter will be responsible for transportation fees. If an adopter cannot be found, I need a new foster home! My foster is wonderful but she also has another JPAR puppy, and her hands are full! Please let me know if you are interested in learning more about our beautiful boy!

Story
Marvin is a sweet and noble dog, 1.5 years old and 30 pounds. He was hanging around the shelter for a couple of weeks, he was given food, water and some love, but we decided to take him in when he arrived really injured and covered in blood, we think he was attacked by dogs. Fortunately in his medical checkup he didn't come out with many problems, and he is now healthy and ready for his new home! He knows how to coexist with other dogs, although he has his temper, he is usually very tolerant with effusive puppies. He likes to sleep in his giant bed, is crate-trained, house-trained and is sociable and friendly with new people. He knows how to ride in a car, and smiles when you scold him, he is adorable! We don't know exactly what breed he is, google lens finds a resemblance to an English Pointer and Andalusian ratter. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Story
Gorgeous Jericho's Promise Scrappy Doo is available for adoption in Southern California! Also open to transporting to Nor Cal, or other states. Adopter would be responsible for transport fee. This boy is just about perfect! He is good in the house, and settles down nicely. He loves to love on his people and will lay beside you on the couch or bed. He isn't really a chewer, or destructive in any way. Potty trained and crate trained. The excellent is that he does mark his territory, so a belly band would be necessary for a few days. He is almost 2 years old. I'm not sure what his mix is. He could have dalmation, and maybe some sort of hound, or he could he could have neither of these in his mix. He's a true Heinz 57! He was rescued, along with his brother and sister, by Jericho's Promise Animal Rescue from the Tijuana streets a year and a half ago. After my friend got them off the street and to the vet for us, they all popped positive for distemper. It was a long recovery, but they all lived. Scrappy survived with no tics, so he is in absolutely perfect health, as far as I know! He gets along great with other dogs, and is good with kids! Unfortunately, he won't leave cats alone. I don't think he wants to hurt them, just VERY interested. He does pretty good on a leash, although he does tend to get tangled up with his walker! He just needs more practice. He is great meeting new people and dogs. I really can't say enough good about this boy! He would make a great addition to almost any family! He's super happy, no fears, self confident, playful and loving! He also has the coolest markings! What more could you ask for! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and is microchipped. Please let me know if you would like more information!
