Our medical team does everything they can to ensure the health of our dogs before they are placed up for adoption, which includes (but is not limited to): - Vaccinations against Parvovirus, Distemper, Adenovirus and Parainfluenza (all dogs have at least 2 of these vaccines (value $60+), puppies at least 3 (value $90+)) - Vaccination against Bordetella and Leptospirosis (value $40+) - Vaccination against Rabies (dogs 5+ months; value $20+) - Test (Idexx Snap 4Dx) for Heartworm, Lyme's disease, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis (for adult dogs; value $60+) - Recent full panel blood test (value $150+) for all adult dogs - Micro-chip with life long free registration (value $50+) - Deworming (roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms; value $20+) - Treatment with Bravecto against fleas and ticks (value $50+) Of course, ALL our dogs are spayed or neutered before going to their new home. Estimated to be around 2 years old, this beautiful large-breed girl (65–80 lbs) has a stunning blue-gray coat, soft floppy ears, and a gentle, soulful presence.   Ocean may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines. She’s incredibly affectionate, enjoys cuddling, and loves being near her people — while still appreciating some quiet alone time. Her energy is nicely balanced: she enjoys walks, car rides, and playful bursts of zoomies (usually before bedtime!), but she’s not overly hyper.   She’s both strong and gentle, and does wonderfully with large dogs. She can also do well with small dogs when introduced properly. Ocean is curious about cats but keeps a respectful distance, and she would be a great fit for a home with kids.   Ocean is house trained and knows basic commands like sit, down, leave it, and shake. She’s smart, eager to learn, and responds well to boundaries. She’s also a great communicator — she’ll alert you if someone’s at the door but isn’t a big barker otherwise.   Like many sensitive pups, Ocean isn’t a fan of fireworks or very loud noises, so a calm, stable home would help her feel her best.   Ocean is more than just a dog — she’s a loyal companion, a gentle presence, and a deeply loving family member waiting for her forever home.
