Story
How Sanson arrived:Sanson was brought in by their previous owner on June 4, 2026 Why Sanson is the one for you: Sanson is a tenderhearted gentleman with a built-in cuddle setting and a talent for making trusted people feel chosen. New faces and unfamiliar places can leave him feeling unsure, so his best introductions involve calm voices, a little room to investigate, and snack-based diplomacy. Once the ice melts, Sanson turns on the charm with soft eyes, leaning cuddles, lap visits, and a sincere appreciation for being close to his favorite humans. This sensitive sidekick enjoys grass patrols, toy time, tasty treats, and peaceful walks with someone he knows. Sudden sounds and busy surroundings can rattle him, but he can regroup when his person gives him space and helps him move away from the commotion. A predictable routine and reward-based training will help Sanson feel more secure as he settles into home life. Sanson is still learning the indoor rulebook, including potty routines and which soft items are toys versus treasured belongings. He has an enthusiasm for stuffed animals that can get a little too Sanson-al, so keeping children's plush pals picked up will help everyone remain on good terms. He has been gentle with a young child, and all kid-and-dog time should be supervised so he can enjoy calm, respectful interactions and take breaks when needed. He needs to be the only dog in the home. Sanson finds dog interactions challenging and has shown that food is something he prefers not to share with canine roommates. Please bring a leash & collar when adopting. At SDHS:Sanson has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for adoption!Shy/Fearful Dog: Sanson requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them.Dog Reactive Dog:Sanson requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Story
Martin is looking for his forever home! 👀 Martin has a calm nature and lower energy level, making him just as happy relaxing at home as he is heading out for walks or adventures. A couple of 30-minute walks a day and quality time with his people are enough to make this gentle guy happy. Martin completed a 6 week board & train with the amazing @rapturek9, and she loved him so much she offered to foster him afterward, which says a lot about what a special dog he is. He already has a wonderful training foundation and knows all the skills to be a well-mannered companion. He’s crate trained, potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, rides great in the car, and gets along well with both dogs and cats. Martin can be a little shy at first and does best with slow, thoughtful introductions, but once he trusts you, he’s incredibly loving and loyal. His confidence has grown so much, and he’s looking for a patient, dog-savvy person who will continue helping him thrive and experience all the good things life has to offer. Smart, gentle, affectionate, and ridiculously handsome, Martin is truly the total package. Could you be his person? Swipe to see his training video!

Story
This is a courtesy listing, not a SPOT Rescue dog. For more information regarding Kiwi, contact Diana below.. Meet Kiwi, a beautiful 1½-year-old Lab/Pointer/Shep mix weighing 30 pounds. She’s the perfect combination of playful, gentle, and loving—just looking for the family who will give her a chance to shine. Kiwi may be a little shy when meeting new people, but don’t let her timid first impression fool you. Once she feels safe, she blossoms into an incredibly affectionate and loyal companion who loves being close to her people. All she needs is a little patience and kindness, and she’ll reward you with a lifetime of unconditional love. Kiwi is already potty trained, uses a dog door, and is crate trained. In fact, she loves her kennel and will often go there on her own when she’s ready to relax or take a nap. She’s also working on her leash skills and continues to gain confidence every day. She has a playful side too! Kiwi loves toys, enjoys running around the yard, and is happiest when she has room to play and explore. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is cat friendly, and adores children, making her a fantastic addition to a family with other pets or kids. Kiwi is searching for a patient, loving home that will help her continue building confidence and show her that the world is a safe place. Once you earn her trust, you’ll discover a devoted best friend who will love you with her whole heart. Diana Daniels 716-912-8733
