Story
How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by a community member January 8, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Javi, a playful, loving and energetic companion ready to find her family! She gets along well with other friendly dogs and is quick to get zoomies when she has room to run. Her loose, happy body language and wagging tail show just how excited she is to be around people. Javi is also a joy to walk - she's easily leashed and walks like a pro. Because she's a young, energetic pup, she would thrive with a family who can give her plenty of exercise and teach her new skills through positive reinforcement training. If you're looking for a social and fun-loving pet, Javi could be the perfect fit! At SDHS:Javi has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Javi is now ready for their new home! Story
Annabelle is a Courtesy Post only and is not a Second Chance Dog Rescue dog. SCDR is not responsible for any ownership, behavior, health, and representations made by the owner with respect to this dog. You must contact Diana Daniels at 716-912-8733 (call or text) to meet Annabelle    Meet Miss Annabelle! This stunning Pointer mix isn’t just beautiful — she’s the real deal who actually points! Estimated to be around 2–3 years old and weighing about 50 lbs, Annabelle is full of life, joy, and playfulness. She absolutely lives for toys and will happily keep herself entertained for hours. Annabelle is both dog- and cat-friendly, and she adores being around people — she’s a classic “Velcro dog” who loves to be part of the action. She walks nicely on leash, is potty trained, and rides wonderfully in the car. She also does well in her kennel as long as she has some favorite toys or treats to keep her busy. While she’s friendly with other pups, Annabelle prefers not to share her toys, she’ll politely (and sometimes not-so-politely!) make sure everyone knows the ball is hers. Her story is a touching one: after her owner passed away in the Imperial Valley, the remaining family, living out of state, couldn’t take her in. When we met her at the shelter, we knew this smart, loyal girl deserved a fresh start and a family who would truly appreciate her loving heart and playful spirit. Annabelle is spayed, vaccinated, and ready for her forever home — one filled with toys, adventures, and people to love.  Annabelle is available to meet in the San Diego area. For further information or to meet Annabelle, please contact Diana Daniels at 716-912-8733 (call or text)October 14, 2025, 6:45 pm
