Story
Willow was abandoned by her previous owners when they moved out and they made it known that they wanted nothing to do with the dog. She’s a sweet girl, I believe about 2 years old and gets along very well with dogs, cats, and kids. She was spayed over the summer and is current on her shots. She has lots of energy and would be the perfect companion for anyone!

&#226&#156&#168 Meet Finn — Your Silver-Coated Best Friend in the Making Male • Weimaraner • Born 5/23/2025 • Currently 25 lbs (Still Growing!) Finn is pure puppy magic wrapped in sleek silver fur. With his long legs, soft floppy ears, and soulful eyes, he has that unmistakable Weimaraner elegance—even as a growing pup. Finn is affectionate, goofy, and wonderfully people-oriented. He’s the kind of puppy who wants to be involved in everything you do and already shows the deep loyalty this breed is famous for. Personality True to his breed, Finn is loving, sensitive, energetic, and incredibly social. He thrives on human connection and forms strong bonds with his people. Finn loves playtime, learning new things, and following you from room to room just to be close. He’s a gentle soul with puppy enthusiasm—expect joyful zoomies, clumsy cuddles, and plenty of heart-melting moments. Breed Info (Weimaraner) Weimaraners are known for: Strong bonds with their humans High intelligence and trainability Athletic, active personalities Sensitivity and emotional awareness A need for companionship and structure This breed does best in homes where they are truly part of the family—not left alone for long periods. Owner Responsibilities Finn is a growing puppy and will need: Continued training and socialization Daily physical exercise and mental stimulation A predictable routine to help him feel secure Patience as he grows through puppy and adolescent stages Regular vet care and guidance Even though Finn is healthy, it’s important to get him to your own vet soon after adoption. Things to Consider Before Adopting This breed needs time and attention—Weimaraners do not thrive in isolation Confirm landlord approval if you rent Puppies require potty training, consistency, and supervision Finn will grow into a medium-to-large, active adult dog Consider your schedule, lifestyle, and long-term plans Are you ready for a lifetime commitment—physically, emotionally, and financially? The 3-3-3 Rule The first 3 days are for decompressing, the first 3 weeks for learning your routine, and the first 3 months for trust to truly bloom. Give Finn patience and reassurance as he settles into his forever home. &#226&#156&#168 Why Finn Will Be an Amazing Addition Finn is more than a puppy—he’s a future best friend. He’ll be the dog who greets you with joy, sticks close through every season of life, and fills your home with loyalty and love. Story
Cheyenne is a 7 year old deaf Catahoula Leopard Hound mix. She came to us from a kill shelter in Alabama. She’s a beautiful girl who is a bit on the shy side, gentle, and she has lived with other dogs. Oh, and she’s a looker, too, with those bright blue eyes and merle coat. Cheyenne is a graduate of our Group Training Class, Basic Obedience. We wouldn't recommend that Cheyenne live with children, she prefers a quiet adult household. She would do best as an only dog. We're not sure about cats. To meet Cheyenne, please fill out an application for adoption:   http://www.deafdogrescueofamerica.org/adoption-application.html      Please note that we are unable to respond to inquiries, emails or phone calls. Our adoption process starts with completion/submission of an application for adoption. All applications are reviewed as quickly as we can, and our adoption process is not first come, first served. We select our adoptive homes according to what our dogs/puppies require. If you are selected as an appropriate match, you will be contacted to set an appointment to visit the Ranch and meet Cheyenne.  November 3, 2024, 12:20 am

Meet "Domino!" Unique Pointer Mix – Leash Trained & Smart! Looking for a dog with a "super" personality? Meet Domino! The Perfect Suburban Companion: Walks like a Pro: Domino is excellent on a leash. He is ready for the Paseos or a hike in the canyon. Smart & Food Motivated: He loves snacks and loves to learn! If you want a dog you can teach tricks to, Domino is your guy. House Manners: He is crate trained and 100% house broken. His Story: Domino’s mom was a German Shorthaired Pointer, and he inherited her intelligence (and likely her energy!). He is about 60 lbs and fully grown (or close to it). He is a sweet, goofy boy who wants to please his people. Location: We are his foster family in the High Desert, but we are willing to transport Domino to the Santa Clarita area (while visiting Family) for a meet-and-greet with the right family!
