Donner is a beautiful 4 year old chocolate brown male (neutered) Weimaraner ~80% . Owner has Alzheimers & can't keep him. He's trained to walk OFF leash and would be ideal for walkers, especially brisk walkers. He's smart, learns quickly, and eager to please. He knows basic commands, plus special ones. He enjoys car rides. He comes with leash, several collars (electric, night, basic), harness and two beds. He's NOT a big barker...not noisy. Will bark briefly when door bell is rung. Periodically barks when dogs in neighborhood are. He lives happily with 2 cats age 5 & 17. He loves humans of ALL ages, genders, occupations. In-home, he's a 64lb lap dog. He can be aggressive towards other dogs without electronic collar. On a firm leash he is calm (won't bark) in the proximity of other dogs (e.g. on trails). He has chewed shoes if alone for 4++ hours.

Piperoni is a 6.5-year-old hound mix (Weimaraner, American Foxhound, and Treeing Walker Coonhound) who’s ready to be your adorable sidekick. With her sleek black coat, soft hound ears, and bright personality, Piperoni is a loving, people-focused dog who just wants to spend time with her person, whether it’s on neighborhood walks or keeping vermin away while you’re gardening. She’s silly, smart, and will greet you with a big smile (or a soft stuffy in her mouth). She’s currently living with a temporary foster in Davis and would thrive in a forever home as a solo pet with a secure yard and someone who enjoys her company and affectionate, silly vibes. ✨ Meet Bo! Bo is the most loyal, easygoing, and affectionate companion you could ask for. He has been loved and cared for since he was just 3 months old, and he’s grown into a sweet, gentle companion. He is 3 years young. He absolutely adores people and gets along well with dogs of all sizes, and could happily live with another mellow dog, preferably a female. He is house-trained and crate-trained, and has excellent manners. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys running around the yard, and is happy with short strolls. He’s definitely happy just relaxing around the house. Bo is wonderful with kids, though he’s more of a calm observer than a playmate. Think of him as the chill teenager of the house—he loves being around children but prefers relaxing on the couch or hanging out outside. Whether he’s your one and only or sharing a home with another dog, Bo is happy either way. This handsome boy is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped—all ready to go home with his forever family. Pico de Gallo is a fun-sized Weimaraner with a name spicy enough to make your heart salsa. With floppy ears so majestic they deserve their own fan club, he struts through life like a velvet tank. He’s got good energy, the sweetness of a grandma's cookie jar, and a strong appreciation for comfort zones (preferably with throw pillows). This big guy is ready to retire in the country!! Here are some notes from his foster: Pico is such a gentle soul and one of the sweetest dogs we've fostered. He's quiet (I've never heard him bark) but can be anxious in new situations, so he needs a patient understanding home that will give him time to feel comfortable. I work from home and during the day he hangs in my office with me (usually under my desk which is quite a sight since he's a big boy!). At night he sleeps on our bed with us. He gets along great with my other dog (a small scruffy mutt) and he has had no problem meeting family and friends' dogs who have come to the house. New people tend to scare him, so he usually avoids my friends who come over - if we have people over he'll usually stay in our bedroom as he prefers a quiet / calm environment. He is mostly potty trained now - he had a few accidents when he first got here, but now that he knows the routine, he's pretty solid about always going potty outside in the yard. His leash skills need a little work - although he does not react at all to people or other dogs on a leash, he generally pulls a lot and he's fairly strong, so it can be a challenge. He's wonderful on car rides - I've had him in the car multiple times for 1+ hours and he's quiet / not anxious at all. He just calmly lays in the backseat. Pico will thrive in a calm, understanding home where he can come out of his shell and grow his confidence.
