Story
I rescued Valor off the street last Nov on a cold night. He was a puppy about 4 months old. I've gotten him vaccinated, neutered, and up to normal weight. Very sweet personality! He loves my German Shepherd and leaves my cats alone although still interested in them, so I watch out. Vet says he is going to be big and is about 40 pounds at approx 7 months old. Now that he is healthy, goes into his crate quietly, and potty outside, I need to find him the right home. You must be an experienced big dog owner, he needs training: Valor inhales his food and becomes aggressive when my german shepherd is nearby during feeding times. I think the early starvation on the street has left him traumatized re food. He is never aggressive with me, I can sit next to him, fill his bowl with food from my hand, and take his bowl away while he's eating with no problem! Very loving pup. Vet references required, and home check. Better as an only dog but with play dates! Sacram,Stockton,Lodi

Story
Dugger is a 2-year-old Catahoula/Husky mix. Dugger is still learning about the world, especially when it comes to being on a leash. He shows some sensitivity to leash pressure and may freeze or try to mouth the leash when he’s unsure, but he does much better with a loose leash and will happily follow along. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he’s already showing progress and gaining confidence.Outside of the kennel, Dugger can be a bit timid at first, but he warms up as he gets comfortable. He has done well meeting other dogs, even tolerating very energetic playmates without reacting negatively. While he may not always match their energy, he seems to enjoy having canine companions, so a dog-to-dog meet is recommended to ensure a good fit.
