Story
Donner is a dream companion. He LOVES humans: ALL ages, genders, races, and occupations. He wants to be near humans, but won't be at your feet all day begging for your attention. He's not hyper. He's content to lounge and nap until it's time for an outing. Walkers, hikers, & runners will love his "off leash" training. He's cat friendly. Not jealous. Not a beggar. He's very smart; learns quickly; is eager to please. Responds to all basic commands, plus special ones. Enjoys car rides; is calm waiting in car (up to 3 hrs.) Videos of his obedience & companionship are available online & via FaceTime. 64lbs and fit. Often goes for 3 mile brisk walk, yet content with 1/2 mile walk. Has a beautiful chocolate brown coat--silky to the touch. He's ~50% Blue Weimaraner. NOT a noisy barker. 6 barks when doorbell is rung then stops. Rarely barks outside. Has full vet records and current vaccines and is chipped. Owner has Alzheimers & can't keep him beyond Jan 15th.

Story
Lola is a sweet dog that loves affection and is highly treat motivated. Lola can be shy and a bit timid at first meeting new people sense her early years were spent in the shelter with dogs instead of a family. Even though she's a bit shy, she tends to warm up fast and is not aggressive with her shyness. Unusual things sometimes startles her since she's never been in a house but her foster has been working hard on showing her every new thing. Lola enjoys playing with other dogs and her toys, plus loves walks since she does have a lot of energy. She is working on her leash manners but does well with corrections and will not tug you off your feet. She is still very much a puppy and working on her basic manners but doing well with crate training. Lola has only met dogs and does awesome. She has met young children through her crate and licks their fingers but she has not met cats. Lola is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. All Better World Rescue dogs come with complimentary group or private training to ensure a successful adoption.
